Best Fantasy Books With Dragons Novels & Stories

Frustration claws at my chest until my fingers brush against a thick, worn book shoved far back on a lower shelf. The Legend of the Dragon Warriors. I scoff immediately. Dragons. Of course. I almost shove it back. I hate everything that has to do with dragons now. Everything about them reminds me of things I would rather forget, bonds I would rather pretend never existed. But something stops me. Tiny lettering at the very bottom of the spine catches my eye. Blue fire. My pulse stutters. I pull the book out slowly and flip it open. The pages are old. Fragile. The first image nearly knocks the air out of my lungs.

The bottom pops open and we see three volumes. The Dragon Tale, The Dragon Keeper, The End of Dragons. Teddy and I look at each other. “Grab Volume one, the Dragon Tale,” Teddy huffs. “Why do I feel like this is about to be ridiculous?” “Because it most likely is,” I say, opening the Sliver colored book. Dragons are among the first animals created at the beginning of time. These dragons died if killed and only lived 200 to 300 years. They would have been the only dragons in existence, if not for the selfishness of a goddess.

“Thea, I’m afraid there’s no stopping it this time. Killing the dragon is of the utmost importance. What we have to do next is to reap the benefits after the dragon is slain. After the dragon is killed, there’s no saying how many powerful martial artists will be born. “These people have their own motives, and to subdue them, we’ll have to be stronger than them.” Thea’s face was full of reluctance. The moment she saw the dragon, she had a change of heart. It felt like she saw her own relative. At that moment, she felt saddened. She knew there was no stopping it from happening. What was left for her to do was just as James’ mentioned—reap the benefits. Thea looked at James and said, “Honey, I

Votigern had doubted the truism of their stories but he knew the tales did not spin out of nothing. Tales of dragons had been in existence for many long years, most people believed in its existence, while other sceptical ones didn’t. There were books, however, Votigern knew the books didn’t lie, they said their town was Islandia. The sources of these books were rogue dragons that had escaped from Islandia.

It is said that as generations passed, the more powerful dragons became. They are prophesized to become the most powerful of all the creatures and shall rule the world in fire and blood. I immediately closed the books as I remember the recurring dream I had. Fire and chaos. Fire and blood. Arthur... was the one between it all. It's just... a mythology, isn't it?... There's no way it's true, right? I mean dragons... aren't supposed to exist. Aren't they?

In fact, majority of the people had chosen to forget that there was a thirteenth noble house ruled by the Whitby's. All they knew about him was that he had become a religious fanatic who ran a gathering of people who believed in Dragons and the Vita Navitas. "Silver Falcon!" Rhaegal, the head of the bandits called out to him after watching him approach his tent for a while and he turned slowly. The Head of the bandits, Rhaeghal, shifted uncomfortably in his seat. he had heard about the Silver Falcon, but never met the man in person. All the business they did together was always conducted by a middleman of the sorts. He had believed it was so because Silver Falcon was probably too old to stan

“O Dragon of all Dragons. Awaken the Great Dragons from your deep slumber. I call you all the dragons of Magica. From the water, the land, the air. Ruler of animate and inanimate beings. For the Awakening of the Dragons and the future of Magica. I, Draco, the last Dragon King, summons you to rise and expel all demons from Magica! For Glory!” The Heart of Magic throbbed as if to answer Draco's call. The golden-colored heart flowed golden energy in the form of pillars of light that shot violently into the sky. The golden light broke out from above the sky in all directions like a meteor shower that shot fast and was emitting more and more light.

Hello guys, Thank you so much for reading my book 'Dragons unidentified Mate'. I now began to write another story about the second couple who were given the powers of the Relic. Hope you enjoy Blaze and Bella's story as much as you enjoy Drake and Nyra's. Blaze is the king of a sect of Dragons called the black Dragons. There is a third realm in fairy called the dark realm, which is dominated by Black dragons. Isabella is a human girl, who was kidnapped to replace her look alike Arabella.

Nessa said pointing to a painting of a Chinese water dragon she had hanging on the cave wall. “Black scales? I know of only one dragon with black scales. That is Fafnir, he became the king of all dragons after his father sacrificed himself to create our world. Unless I am mistaken, which I must admit, is almost never” Al’ik said stroking her chin. “Now that I have something to go on for wound though I read the healing texts and there is only one way to heal such a wound, treating it requires you to be awake, and it will be painful. I will have to stich all broken muscle fibers and tendons back together manually using magic weave.”

I opened it and noticed the printing was only on a few pages it was no longer blank like it was earlier, maybe magic decided I needed to read the red one first. I shrugged as I sat back down and read the four pages that were available. they all basically said that dragons can be born from humans but if they are from an egg that the mother decides when the egg hatches. If they want a dragonkin in the near future it can be done but if they want to wait? well it says mother can keep that egg safe without every worrying if it will spontaneously hatch. I did find a small paragraph on female dragons that said they are celestial beings and the male dragon only has to wish upon a star and his dragon
