Playing Games With The Billionaire

Playing Games With The Billionaire

The only problem was that Yael was stretched out on the edge of the seat and Lynan would have to climb over him to get to the free spot. He stopped short as he noticed that Yael held a book that looked like from the same series as the one Lynan had been reading earlier. “It’s the next one in the series after the one I borrowed from you that day. I never thought I would enjoy murder mysteries, but it’s very well written. I can go back to the start if you would like to read it with me?” Lynan nodded as he moved to climb over the man’s legs to get to the other side of the seat, pausing when he was practically straddling him and flushing a little at the slight smirk thrown his way.

Dream State

Megan smiled as she watched it fly higher and higher. Megan was so lost in her thoughts she didn’t pay attention to the sound of running footsteps that happened to become louder. The kid must have had her head down because she didn’t see Megan until it was too late. Megan was shocked as the girl seemed to have flipped over her and her dog. When the girl had landed her butt, her messenger bag had spilled open and out slid her books, her small throwing knives that her father had given her. When the small black ritual book with what looked like it had, some hand-painted a design on it and a few vials of mystery liquids that had landed safely across the grass of Megan’s older neighbor, Allison.

I replied, shaking his hand briefly before pulling it back, a tingle left in its place. “So, Kalia, what’s so captivating in that book of yours that you almost missed the best coffee in town?” He nodded toward my cup. I tilted my head, considering him. “You are assuming I don’t already know that this place has the best coffee.” He raised an eyebrow. “Fair enough. But now I’m curious about the book.” I held it up, the cover facing him. “It’s a mystery novel. Keeps me on my toes.” He leaned in slightly, intrigued. “A mystery, huh? So, you like solving puzzles?”

The Mysterious Alpha

The Mysterious Alpha

Craig’s POV I dismissed everyone, leaving only my confidential partners with me - Greg, Drey, and Tom. It was time to be strategic. There was no time to dally around. “What was the report?” I asked Tom. He had figured out some strange information about my Uncle and how he was able to get our contact information. Dealing with the Sun Blood Pack was one thing, but claiming the Moon Blood Pack from my uncle was the main goal. “Your uncle is currently on the hunt for a girl with the mark. Recently, wolves who travel along the borders of the Moon Blood Pack have been found missing. But, I have a feeling it has to do with your uncle's search for the marked wolf.”

The Alpha King's Hated Mate

The Alpha King's Hated Mate

“Anyone would have missed that because it is insignificant, but not you, Haylee.” Liya was right. The book was shoved behind two giant books, and its front cover had been ripped off. I held Jodie with one arm, stretching the other to get the book off the shelf. My eyes squinted as I tried to read the words on the first page. “Cursed in Crimson: The Tale of Ancient Red Wolves,” I read under my breath. Flavia heard me and stepped towards me with about five books in her hands. She etched, “Interesting. That might help us with solving the mystery around Elder Calvin’s death.”

My Mafia Husband Thought, I Was Innocent

My Mafia Husband Thought, I Was Innocent

“This one weaves mystery and magic, but underneath, it’s a story about trust and power.” Her face softened. “I’ll take it.” As I wrapped the book, another man stepped in, younger, sharp-eyed, dressed in a rumpled suit. His gaze swept the shelves with a hunger I recognized all too well. “Looking for something… thrilling,” he said, voice low. I leaned forward slightly. “Try The Silent Corner, it’s about secrets that change everything.” He nodded, brows furrowed, then murmured, “Secrets change everything.” The bell jingled again. A teenager, headphones around his neck, glanced nervously at the counter. “Uh, do you have any fantasy? Like with dragons?”

Forced To Be The Mafia King's Bride

His mouth found the hollow of her throat as his fingers worked the laces of her corset… "Absolutely not." I snapped the book shut. "Dad, come on. It's not even that bad." "Not that bad?" I held the book up. "This is soft-core disguised as mystery." "It's a subplot. The main plot is the murder investigation." "I don't care if it's a footnote." I set the book on the coffee table, out of her reach. "You're fifteen. Too young for this garbage." She crossed her arms, leaning back against the cushions. "I'm almost sixteen. Not six."

Oh gosh! I'm already in love with the story, its looking like it wouldn't be the typical cliche of the girl giving into easily. I love Giannas stubbornness and Dantes control. I'm hooked to see them fall in love ps. I came from your other story which I'm obsessed withand this one didn't disappoint.

This is an amazing book by an amazing author, but the wait between updates is absolutely brutal. My advice: DO NOT start reading until the book is completed! Waiting days between chapters will drive you crazy, and you start losing the storyline and your connection to the characters.

The Mysterious Disappearance

The Mysterious Disappearance

*The Secret Society* Emma sat in the dimly lit café, sipping her coffee and staring at the small folder she had received from an anonymous source. The folder was labeled "The Order of the Phoenix" and contained a series of cryptic documents and symbols. As she flipped through the pages, Emma's eyes widened in shock. The documents seemed to describe a secret society that had been operating in the shadows for centuries. They were known for their ruthless tactics and obsession with power. But what really caught Emma's attention was the mention of a prophecy. According to the documents, a young woman with a specific genetic makeup would hold the key to unlocking an ancient power. And Emma's sist
