I go the book I am currently reading, it is murder mystery/ thriller, titled ‘As good as dead’ and it is very interesting and intriguing. It was about a girl about to go to college, she is Blake’s age and she had spent the past two years solving murder cases and now she is clearly traumatized since in the last book, she had a guy die in her arms. I am not far in, I just started it on the plane and I have had much time to finish the book.

It was like searching for a needle in a haystack, and with every passing minute, the urgency only grew. But then, as I was about to give up for the night, something caught my eye—a small, weathered book tucked away on the bottom shelf. Its cover was faded, the title barely legible, but there was something about it that drew me in. I carefully pulled it from the shelf, the pages brittle and yellowed with age. The title read, *The Lost Chronicles: A History of the Ancient Magics*. My heart raced as I opened the book, scanning the pages for anything that might be relevant. It wasn’t long before I found a section that made my breath catch in my throat.

" Mystic Joe is leaving in the evening to bring in his teacher. He seems to know a lot more about your kind. So that might be of some help. I however have found out about an old library. It's more like a comic shop. You know, picture books. They have some 'specialised' versions on Dragons. You know, it would not hurt to go check if it has some information! " I wasn't very sure where she was trying to take me or what kind of a place it was. But I had no idea where to start in this world. It was not a bad idea to start somewhere. At most only a few hours would go to waste.

My wolf replied. I shook off the "what-ifs" that held me back and turned back to the towering oak shelves. My fingers traced the spines of leather-bound books, all of them layered in dust that made my nose itch. "Focus," I muttered to myself. "One monster at a time." I immediately admonished myself. I continued to look until I found the books my dad had recommended. I pulled the four heavy volumes from the shelves. The History of Shadow Entities, The Blood Rites of the Unseen, The Search for Shadows and one volume of Pack Lore and Ancient Threats. I carried them to a secluded corner of the library. The dust felt suffocating, but I wouldn't let anything stop me.

But nothing seemed to match the symbol on my door. Frustrated, I leaned back in my chair, rubbing my temples. There had to be something here, some clue that I was missing. I glanced at the stack of books beside me, my eyes landing on one that looked older and more worn than the others. Its leather cover was cracked and faded, the title barely legible: *The Mysteries of Silverwood.* I pulled the book closer and opened it carefully. The pages were brittle, the text handwritten in an elegant script. As I flipped through the pages, a passage caught my eye:

“I don’t know. “ he said lightly, “Many of the books I was reading before were about those guys who..you know, left everything and went travelling all over the US, or Mexico. “ “Yeah, Mexico is weird. “ “You’ve been there?” “Oh, yeah, on the …” He was about the say the worst mission in my life with the cartels but quickly shut up. “On a vacation. Sort of. “ “Nice, “ Killian smiled, “ I just always felt like those were the places where you could get lost in and you didn’t have to turn back. “ “Is this what you want? To never turn back. “ “Who doesn’t sometimes?”

Toby asked with an etched eyebrow, watching Yara pull out a big sized novel from the shelf and Barnes smile proudly. "Thatweird_author." she replied, holding the novel up to his eye level. She seemed keen on the idea that a little walk would help Lauren feel better, but Lauren didn’t think her mom would agree to a long hike.
