There was no escaping without making myself seen. Before I could do anything more stupid, I heard the galloping of a horse behind me. I turned, still crouching, and saw Alpha Alexander on a regal white horse, his face contorted in rage. I heaved a relieved sigh and stood up from my crouch, just as my uncle's men morphed into their different wolf forms. Four wolves, four deadly beasts. Alexander himself leaped down from the horse and morphed midair. Where a man had once stood, now a great black werewolf crouched, snarling, his teeth bared dangerously.

Liam tilts his head in submission. "My little sister is out there, and I feel that she will come home. You're a good fighter, Liam. You are quick to react and considerate of your fellow warriors. I want to appoint you as my Beta, but I can't if you run around sleeping with she-wolfs and arriving late to practice"

I say again. The three of us leave the room and Bruno complains all the way to the Hall, where Liam is standing talking to his Beta. They seem to be in a heated argument. I clear my throat, drawing their attention. "Liam," I say. "King Alpha," the beta curtsies. I like this guy, I can't understand how he manages to be beta to someone like Liam. But it seems he's used to it since he's always trying to put out the fires the younger one causes.

Elric rasped. “Shouldn’t I?” I stepped forward. My voice was flat, but my whole body trembled. “Room 301 was empty, but I guess you preferred Room 302. Since it’s one number closer to your real omega?” Liam tried to sit up but bobbled, his face red. “Eli, I—” “Don’t.” My hand curled into a fist. “You’re a Beta, Liam. You can’t even...” “I’m not a Beta!” His voice cracked. “I just hide it… I have a scent. A real one, not like yours. Elric can feel me. He can claim me...”

Beta Liam sneered, a strange smirk playing on his lips. "Be cautious with your words about my Luna, Liam! Mind your foul tongue before I chop it off!" Alpha Netayam warned, attempting to reign in his anger. However, Beta Liam had transformed from the composed and sweet Beta to the villain within the Pack's mansion for the day. "Or else what, Alpha? Will you kill me or instruct her to use her..." He was about to say more when Alpha Netayam lunged at him, gripping his neck tightly. It was evident that Alpha Netayam was concealing something from me, and he had no intention of sharing it.

I walk along the line as each one introduces themselves to me, and I come to a stop when I find the last girl is Lucy. “Lucy….why are you here?” I ask, but before she gets a chance to reply, Liam is standing beside me. “Lucy has true beta blood, and her wolf is one of the most powerful she-wolves in the pack. She would make a perfect Luna for you, Raul; you must see that.” What the fuck is he thinking? Lucy is like a little sister to me. We grew up together….

Beta Calian asked. Ahmik Black took another sip out of his teacup. He chuckled. "Beta Calian, the soon to be alpha of the North Lotus pack. Do you realize how powerful that title is? Why should you bother yourself about a pair of useless and insignificant females?" he asked. "Beta Calian, yes, you told me about your plan and I supported you with my full chest, I still do actually. But you never thought it important to ask me why I supported you so I in turn decided to keep my reasons for support to myself."

That made it worse, somehow. She was blooming. And Eamon wasn’t sure what to do with that. Because he wasn’t just her brother. He was a Beta. A protector. Someone who’d spent his life building shields between her and the world. Now she was the weapon. And he didn’t know whether to be proud or terrified. Maybe both.

I wasn't sure when, since she seemed to be patient in one regard; she could bide her time like her mother and come up with a scheme with maximum damage inflicted. Ruthless. I had heard that word applied to many Alpha's, but never to a Luna or her daughter. More than just ruthless, in my eyes they were just evil. Travis was concerned with keeping Lyla safe. I couldn't blame him. I may not have a Luna by my side, but I could feel his emotions and see through his memories why she was so important to him. The mate bond was very strong.

Pack with newly bought clothes arranged by the Luna herself, Kamila thanked them once again and bid her good bye. Today, Blue Moon pack will go back home. She excitedly went to where Travis' car is. She sat on the front seat, totally ignoring Blake. She doesn't need the Alpha but she must act accordingly to get what she wants and that is Travis.
