Amber and her mate were over there, dancing and acting like mates should.
I sat next to her and smiled. "Not into dancing?"
"Nathan, don't try to make this casual," she said.
"You know how I feel about predictable romance, mister." Already making this harder than it has to be.
"Now, no, I don't dance. I'm like a gorilla in a herd of gazelles."
I smirk.
"Maybe I can teach you, Lyka." I stand and hold my hand out in offering.
She looks shocked at my offer after what she said. At this point I expected her to be more stubborn than Amber or all the rest of the she-wolves. She hesitantly takes my hand and I lift her gently to her feet, escorting her to the dance floor.
