I remained silent, looking around, the pain of losing Alice still throbbing in my chest. I should have hated her for betraying me, but I couldn't bring myself to feel any anger towards her. "Let's go, we need to return. The Alpha King is waiting for us!" said the Beta, looking at me with a serious expression, trying to remain indifferent.
