With a loud shrieking noise, the beast emerged from the water again, this time aiming for my throat, ready to plunge his spike teeth into them. I don't know what came over me, but I felt something from within. I felt a sudden burst of energy surging through my veins. A memory of a man crossing his hands together in an X sign flashes in my head. Without waiting further, I copied the same things and the unexpected happened. As my hands met together in an X sign, a strange force burst out of my hand and hit the beast away. The force pushed it backwards, slamming its scales onto the canyon rock.

"My name is Sierra and this is my colleague and friend Bobby. Are we okay to come in?" Chloe didn’t respond immediately, her blue eyes jumping from one visitor to the next until eventually she surmised that even if they were going to hurt her, there was nothing she could do about it. She wasn’t strong or skilled in battle. She was just a weak little omega who wasn’t worthy of a wolf or the ability to protect herself.

Their bodies seemed half-wrapped in shadows, their movements too fast to track. Mara’s lip curled. “He’s learning.” Edward’s hand brushed mine. “Stay behind me.” “I have to get to the shard,” I said. “And you will,” he answered. “But you won’t do it alone.” The battle began with a roar. Edward’s wolf leapt forward, his claws ripping into the nearest beast. Mara moved like lightning, her blades slicing through shadows, scattering them. I ran for the shard again. My fire burned hotter, eager, but when I reached for it, something slammed into me from the side.

Whoosh! As soon as he dived into the water, Darryl felt a pair of eyes staring at him. Then, a huge figure approached him at an incredible speed. It was the shark. Without a second thought, Darryl activated his internal energy and transferred it into the beast taming loop. Ring! In an instant, an unusual bright ray glowed around the beast taming loop. Then, a wave of energy charged at the shark. The shark slowed down when it felt the energy coming towards it. Its eyes stared at Darryl closely, revealing a sense of doubt.

Moana’s POV The clash of metal inside the high council chamber was deafening, the sound echoing off the vaulted timber ceilings like a localized thunderstorm. Sharon’s battleaxe caught the torchlight as it came down, a brutal, horizontal swing meant to cleave Eldrick in two. But Eldrick didn't parry. He ducked beneath the heavy iron head, his movements fluid and unnaturally fast, driven by the raw power of the renewed bond. He drove his short trench blade upward, slicing through the leather straps of Sharon’s shoulder guard, drawing a thick line of red across the warlord's chest.

"Thank you, Edward. For guiding me through this." I nodded, feeling a surge of pride swell within me. "We are far from finished. Now, let us put you to the test against the shade." The training ground took on a more ominous aura, the air crackling with an eerie energy. Bella stood at the center, gripping a practice sword with white-knuckled intensity. Her eyes were fixed on the shadowy figure before her, its form shifting like smoke in the wind. Though silent, the shade exuded a menacing presence, its faintly glowing eyes piercing the darkness.

“I got it, what next?” “Now, it should come naturally to you, pour your shard energy into the image in your mind.” What is that supposed to mean? I try to visualise the shard as the crystal I saw the first time, I imagine it exuding a bright blue light that seeped into the katana. Nothing. “Um, X? It’s not working...” I open my eyes to find out that’s not true. In front of me is a glowing blue blade, exactly the way I imagined it, except it wasn’t glowing. “Impressive, you actually got it on your first try” X holds my shoulder. “It’s called a thought construct, imagination given form by your shard energy. Pretty cool right?”

“Because she wants us dead and touching her is assuring her, we don’t hate her” Shane hates a lot of people and River is not one of them. “And we hate her so much that Neo is going to kill X for her”, I finish sarcastically. The animalistic groans coming from the ring in front of us signals the start of the agni-kai. Xandar’s wolf comes to play. Smaller than an Alpha’s should be, grey like the dulling headache he is, with a white fur scar running across his left eye and with mismatched eyes, he’s what I’d like to call all bark and no bite.

I could feel the tension around the house. As we rounded the corner leading to a mesmerizing kitchen I heard a sharp squeak that was high enough to break glass. Just as quickly as the sound came I felt a woosh of air and Xavier was on the ground. His tall frame was pinned beneath a slender yet seemingly powerful woman. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail and her aura screamed power. Chuckling, Xavier slowly hoisted himself up with the woman clinging to his body. His hands pried at her,but without any luck he seemed to accept it and let her stay clung to him.

The runt was smirking and it wasn’t a good sign. Bruce was right. Klick aimed for his shin and the shark merman had to move quickly to avoid casualty. It didn’t take them long to get serious now that Klick had recovered. He could feel the beta’s bloodlust and thirst for revenge now that he was given the green light to go all out by the doctor. With nothing to hold them back, Bruce found himself having to get slightly serious to keep up with Klick’s aerial attacks.
