Montana Skies

Montana Skies

I sipped my tea and turned the TV on. “You never did like Blake much.” Helen’s tone was matter of fact. My lips parted. “What?” “Oh, it's obvious,” Helen said and shrugged. I sighed. “Everything about me is, isn’t it? I literally can’t talk about the situation with River. It’s not that I don’t want to.” I stood up and walked over to the window. There wasn’t a star in the sky. Dark clouds rolled through the dark sky. It made the sky appear darker than it was.

Beyond His World

Beyond His World

A cool breeze drifted from the darkness beyond. It carried the scent of rain, flowers... And something older than time itself. As the opening widened, everyone stared in amazement. Beyond the doorway was not another underground tunnel. It was an entirely different world. An endless valley stretched before them beneath a sky unlike anything Liana had ever seen. Two moons hung overhead even though it was daylight. Crystal rivers flowed between emerald hills, and giant white trees reached toward the heavens. Floating islands drifted peacefully above the landscape. Birds with glowing wings circled the sky.

Dreams Beneath Racing Skies

Dreams Beneath Racing Skies

"Congratulations. You have always been the best. Orion." After stepping down from the podium, I looked around but couldn't find Orion anywhere. I took out my phone and sent him a message. "Where are you? Did you come to watch the race?" About ten minutes later, he finally replied. "Sorry. I'm still out of town on business. Do you like the flowers?" I couldn't help smiling. "I love them. Thank you." "Lyra?" A familiar voice came from behind me. I turned around. Ryder was walking slowly toward me.

Beyond the Forge

Beyond the Forge

"Your father paid for this package, kid. Premium. He told us to shatter your ego. Shave it all off." The clippers pressed to my forehead. Cold metal on my scalp. Then I felt the weight of my hair falling away, clumps of dark curls hitting the wet floor one by one. I closed my eyes and made up my mind not to cry. I didn't cry. That felt like the first tiny win I’d managed in this whole nightmare.” "Look at the floor," the guard hissed. I looked down. My hair swirled toward the drain. I felt empty, not like a Prince anymore. I felt like I was being processed, already halfway done.

Alpha’s Glitch: The Dragon Architect’s Revenge

Alpha’s Glitch: The Dragon Architect’s Revenge

I whispered, my golden eyes fixed on the horizon. In the distance, the world simply... ended. Where there should have been the jagged peaks of the Frost-Spine Mountains, there was only a vast, infinite expanse of Grey Scale. The sky didn't meet the earth; they both dissolved into a flickering Checkerboard Texture—the unrendered "Void" where the Architects had stopped writing the world’s code ten thousand years ago.

Beyond His Reach

Beyond His Reach

When he saw me walk out looking calm and composed, he looked uneasy. "Vanessa, you—" "I'm fine. You've seen what you needed to see, so you should go now. What comes next isn't something you can be involved in." I told Edward to leave. He didn't want to, but in the end, he was kept outside. Everything that followed had nothing to do with him anymore. I knew partings were painful but for Blake, this was also a release. After so many years as comrades, we had become closer than anything else.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Thing Beyond the Crack The sky was opening. Not breaking. Not collapsing. Opening. As though reality itself had become a wound. Thomas could not look away. The fracture stretching across the silver heavens continued widening, spilling impossible light over the City of Echoes. Buildings trembled beneath its glow. Streets split apart. Towers leaned dangerously as if trying to escape whatever lay beyond. And through that widening crack— something was watching. Something vast. Something alive. The heartbeat returned. BOOM.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

The leaden sky shattered. Not with a sound, but with a silent, visual explosion. The draining grey of the plain fell away behind us, replaced by a landscape that defied simple description. It was a tapestry woven from light and sound, where rivers of liquid melody flowed between hills of solidified harmony. The air itself hummed with a creative potential so intense it was dizzying. We had reached the domain of the Weavers.

Euphoria in the Melancholic Sky

Euphoria in the Melancholic Sky

It was a Sunday afternoon yet the sky was gloomy. The sun that’s supposed to dazzle is nowhere to be found and the cold breeze blew on my way. I’ve watched the news last night, they said it will be a clear day today but the sky shows otherwise. We’ve decided to celebrate our friend’s birthday in the garden but we will have a hard time now that the rain threatens to pour down. “Hey, can you help me decide which design suits the theme the most? I need to finish this before Unira arrives,” my friend uttered.
