I looked at the caption and I was attracted to it. The words caught my attention chanting for celestial power to rule the world. One day after work I washed and decided to read as soon as I opened the book a small white substance in a form of powder fell. The words in the small book were not eligible. But some bold words began to scroll through the booklet. I practiced and after I had use three volumes I was stack and therefore needed an elixir in order to progress. I was told one of the elixirs was two billion dollars.

It looked ancient, and as my eyes touched its words I felt as though I was in the presence of a very old, very powerful being. My eyes pricked with tears. The raindrops hit the window beside me, splintering and splitting into two halves. Outside, I could see the figure of the wolf statue that Alpha Felix and Luna Carla had got us as a house-warming gift. A single drop of rain ran like a stream down the centre of its image, clinging to the glass pane of the bay window and trailing into insignificance as it fell to the wet ground below. I turned back to the open, withered pages of the book. I flicked through it, my fingers careful as they ran through the papers. One word caught my eye: Life.

They were watching. Waiting. The woman suddenly grabbed Adrian's wrist. Her calm voice had disappeared. "You must leave." "What?" "Now!" "The Last Story has started writing itself." A thunderous heartbeat echoed through the void. Boom. Boom. Boom. It wasn't Adrian's. It wasn't the White Tree's. It came from somewhere beyond existence itself. The White Book snapped shut.
