Bible Everyday Reading Novels & Stories

While doing the laundry, Marie’s thoughts were back on the conversation made by Mrs. Grace Reyes. With the bible in hand, Grace asked her, “Are you familiar with John 3:16?” “Yeah!” “But do you understand what that verse is all about?” “It says that God loved the world that He gave Jesus Christ, His only son and we will not be in condemnation but have eternal life.”

Timotheus snatched the Bible from Ferran’s hand and opened it as if he was so familiar with the book. “John 3:16… John 3:16…” Timotheus opened the Bible and saw the highlighted verse. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” He read. “What about the numbers 17, 18, 19, 20, 21?” Czaquira asked. “Maybe the words?” Timotheus was confused for a while.

I'm not as good at explaining as I thought I was. "Oh not at all, the bible to me is more of a guide to this thing we call life. The stories in there are more of motivational stories, something that one can relate to. All the stories there just show you that no matter what you're going through, God can pull you out of it, even if you're the one who got yourself into it." "So is it wrong that I've never believed in him my entire life?"

said Zeus while looking ahead. "Self reflection." I started to think about it. "It must be a mirror. Because of the mirror, in the mirror we can see our reflection." When I gave my conclusion, the bible page shifted again. It's still in the Corinthian gospel. Gradually, the pages of the Bible shifted through the chapters. In the end the page stops at chapter 13. The three of us immediately looked there, we analyzed each passage. "I should have read the bible more every day." Ozgur sighed tiredly. But suddenly, he was shocked when he saw the chapter in the bible.

It was a tradition they had adhered to not because they did every night, but reading from the scriptures had given Jane courage as a little girl and as a growing adult. When she volunteered as a medical staff during that war, she had carried the Bible along with her, and it had been the rock she leaned on each time things got too harsh, or she lost hope that the men they were treating would recover. She had also read specific passages to dying patients and had seen the relief come over their features, the hope that they had something to look forward to. And so when there was nothing more to do and yet a lot to be done, she had remembered her Bible. Reading the all-too-familiar pages had brou

She also asked the Lord to take these nightmares away from her. Then she got back into the bed, reached for her Bible, opened the passage of the day and read it thoughtfully, digesting the meaning of every word. As a soldier of Christ, this was her weapon of warfare, so it should be cleaned every day. This has been her routine for three years.

Oh shoot. It didn't matter how stoned I was, there was one thing I had to do before I met up with sleep. Reaching over to the nightstand, I retrieved my old, tattered bible and opened to where it was bookmarked. With the weight of sleep anchoring down my lids, the words on the page blurred, but I strained nonetheless and repeated the highlighted words of Proverbs; words I'd been reading every night for the past six years: Oh God, I beg two favors from you; let me have them before I die.

When one idea is not working shift your thinking to a different one. My daily routine now in order to cancel stress was to just read books on business and Christian literature. I searched for wisdom like a hungry man. I told myself that what if Solomon's wisdom came as a result of studying. I really did carry out much study. Paul says to Timothy 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself a workman not to be ashamed. That's what I started to do day and night. I read on Angels, Holy Spirit, marriage, salvation, forex trade and business in general. I did this for weeks that my mind was now in volume of much literature.

The white-capped waves that crashed along the jagged cliffs had lulled her to sleep each night, and the terrace where she read her devotionals in the mornings provided the perfect view of the Mediterranean Sea. Alexa had awoken with the sun each morning on their vacation. Jetlag and the changes in her schedule were distracting enough to send her stirring at an earlier hour than Salvatore, so she used the time to study Scripture. She and Salvatore had taken a few journeys into the nearby towns, and although they had no neighbors to observe, she knew the villages were waking with the dawn. Pulling her blanket tighter around her shoulders, she stared at the passage before her. Proverbs 28:13 re

"First of all, teqs. He's not your God. He is our God and it doesn't matter whatever you think you are or what people say about you, God is always willing to accept us the way we are. We're never perfect and heaven knows but his love is encompassing and he'd never throw us away into the deep dark hole of our lives and let us remain there. We just have come wholeheartedly and sincerely to God and he'd find the broken pieces of us and make us whole again." She sniffed, looking up at him. "And how do I do that? I don't even know the right words to say." "How about we start by studying his words and memorizing them daily?" He asked, bringing out a medium sized hardcover Bible from his study tabl
