Monique’s face twitched. That man had a meaningful look in his eyes, she knew his question had not been a literal one. What a pervert and a bully… “Daddy, you’re amazing!” Angel praised, and her eyes had been gleaming. Henry looked at Angel, he smiled and said, “Angel is much more sensible.” Monique snorted, “What’s so amazing about it, I can do it too.” “Really?” He raised his brows. “Angels are subject not only to God but also to Christ, who is described as hereafter to return to judgment.” Monique explained.

Verity had not moved, would not move as she took in the angel's actions, and as I moved toward her a low roar began deep inside the bowels of the Earth. The rumble became louder, almost deafening as we all stopped what we were doing, the battle halted. Even the angels in the air parted, their bodies swaying as even the air was affected. As if stuck in slow motion all heads turned as a blinding light erupted from Cain, his body arching upward so hard it looked as if he was folded in half. The sword shooting out of his chest, sending blood flinging through the air. Cain stood up, blood continuing to pulse from his chest, his eyes wide and his forehead glowing. On it the mark he bore lit up as

His eyes went to the dead body on the ground. Zoey growled, but lifted her fork and knife and cut into her meat. The tenderness and enticing aroma made her tummy happy. Zoey was about to deposit the food in her mouth when Titus rose to the floor. "Barnabas," his voice was raucous as he spoke. He worked the tip of his tail to smack the scrap of flesh from Zoey's hand. The steam hovered in the air, showcasing that it was prepared not long ago. That was when Zoey saw it. Barnabas's tattoo. An eagle being crushed by a serpent was burnt in the middle of the flesh. "Everyone, stop eating. This isn't fish or chicken." Everyone froze.

. It was to be written on deer parchment according to an amulet table in the angelic Sefer Raziel and under certain astrological and angelic infl uences. One set of 10th-century instructions were “It is to be written only on Monday, in the fi fth hour, over which the Sun and the angel Raphael preside, or on Thursday, in the fourth hour, presided over by Venus and the angel Anael.” Mezuzot were encapsulated in cases. It was forbidden to alter the face of the mezuzah but was permissible to write on the back of the parchment. One popular medieval addition was the name Shaddai, held to be especially powerful in repelling demons. Small windows were cut in the backs of the mezuzot cases so that th

They are all black with white tips. Alex says that’s how they know that my mother, whoever she was, was an Angel. My demon side is shown through the color change in my eyes. Angels have white/silver eyes, and Demons have neon green eyes and fangs. My eyes are neon green, and I have fangs. Angels don’t develop tattoos as wings. They have wings from the moment they are born. Demons develop tattoos that turn into wings. However, their wings are leathery and clawed; instead of feathered. That’s how they know that I’m a hybrid.

Chelsa slid the papers back into the folder, handing them back to me, and stood up. "You know, angels. In the Bible, angels helped guide people towards God and gifted them with the Ten Commandments, aka God's law. Vampires mirrored the Ten Commandments into their own twisted ones onto a galena ore; which is often used for lead. It's beautiful but so very deadly," "Do you know these commandments?" "Of course," Chelsa smiled.

It looked perfect on her and thankfully it seemed to be the right choice. Angel’s eyes zeroed in on my newest tattoo that Uncle Dante designed. My brother had the same one. It was a bold choice, but we wanted her to know that she was going to be our choice whether or not there was a fated bond. It was a galaxy scene that morphed into an image of Angel’s beautiful face. ‘Angel – My Queen’ was written in calligraphy. “We had these done last week and are definitely our favorite tattoos,” I said, winking at her.

"Is that what the tattoo is for? Your Mom?" She slowly nods her head and averts her gaze back towards the window, her tattoo peeking out just a smidge above her uniform collar. "For her... and my Dad. Black angel wings usually represent fallen angels. My Mom and Dad? They were my angels." Silence looms over us as I pull into the department parking lot and turn the engine off. "Will you talk to him for me, Crayvin? Just check on him for me, please? I don't want him alone, and you two are close. He probably needs you more than you think right now, even if he isn't ready to admit that to you, yet."

His wings were like billion of stars when it shines, too stunning that you couldn’t turn your eyes away, it was heavenliness that could warm one’s heart in just one glance. Kram came near them with frowning eyes and lips, all the angels immediately stood up for they knew that there was something bad that happened the moment they looked at the Archangel’s expression. They slowly formed a line before him and bowed down their heads as they knelt one knee above the ground, as a respect for their superior. “What’s the matter, Kram?” Xhagreb asked, one of the male angels, an old man around 2000 years old, who was guiding the little angels, his face was wrinkled but it was smooth and white as snow.

"I will not put you in danger, Angel. Daniel is in the hospital. Mathew is in charge. The doctor has a hundred patients to treat. My uncle is occupied. Give me a few hours to take care of you. I … I want to be with you, please don't say no. I am begging you." Angel raised his large hands to frame the side of her neck and face, peering into her teary eyes. Her emotional state got to him and he wanted to tell her she shouldn’t beg for what was hers but he suppressed the feeling. “I can not stay the entire night.” “Angel…” “I have something to do in the pit,” he said. “The pit?” she asked, searching his gaze anxiously. Angel decided to spare her any more agony and ignored the question. “I need
