Rescued by the Beast
He was done.
The remaining Hellhounds took off as soon as they saw my victory. They retreated, not wanting to remain in the presence of the Beast. I was an animal, wild, and savage . . . ready to slaughter whoever stood between me and my family. Gia was mine. I made my point loud and clear, tearing Claw's throat out like a blood-thirsty carnivore. A final tug was all I needed to get me a mouthful of the backstabbing traitor. Claw slumped to the ground, bleeding out onto the parking lot. The dusty rubble drank greedily, feasting on his blood. I spat out the pound of flesh and reared my head in a fearsome roar, the echo reverberating around the roadside and beyond for all to hear.
Gia is Mine.
