The Girl Who Broke the Silence

The Girl Who Broke the Silence

She closed her eyes, and memory blurred into dream. She was back in Umuaka. The village square glowed under moonlight. Elders sat in a circle, their lips sealed, eyes heavy with tradition. Mama stood at the edge, her silence loud, her hands wringing her wrapper. Promise stepped forward, barefoot on the clay. She opened her mouth, ready to speak, but no sound came. Only echoes of drums, faint and far. Then, from the shadows, a girl’s voice rose—a younger version of herself, whispering: “If silence is survival, then breaking it is rebirth.”

The Silent Goodbye

The Silent Goodbye

She tried her best to keep calm, but fear still crept across her pale features. Charlotte was not just a criminal now. She was a woman completely unhinged. There was no telling what she'd do next. Benjamin's voice came through gritted teeth, "Out with it. What do you want?" "One million," Charlotte hissed, "cash. Bring it in boxes, and come alone." She pressed the stick against Nissa's head. "Remember--if you call the cops, she dies." Nissa looked at Benjamin on the screen for a long moment, then quietly turned her gaze away.

Taken by my stepfathers

Taken by my stepfathers

Behind them, a young blonde girl I didn't recognize stood quietly, wrapped in a large cashmere sweater, staring at Eden with a profound, unyielding reverence. For three agonizing seconds, the silence in the room was absolute. The iron crowbar in Silas’s right hand slipped from his white-knuckled grip, clattering loudly against the marble floor. His chest heaved violently, a ragged, choked sound escaping his throat. He didn't move toward her. He didn't speak. Instead, a terrifying tremor rippled through his massive, scarred frame. The unshakeable, brutal giant who had conquered the German underground suddenly looked like he was suffocating under the weight of his own breath.

His Beloved

His Beloved

Sila hissed at her. “You talk like mother now”, Amy defended herself. “Oh, sister, I’m not like our mother, I’m much worse...” Sila had a crazy look that appeared in her eyes, just like her voice changed in a second. It seemed like a demon talking, not her. Her hand was suddenly around Amy’s neck, choking her to death. “Nobody takes what’s mine, ...sister”, Sila spoke, while she threw Amy’s lifeless body on the ground. While she was saying unknown words, her eyes were black, and her face was crazy and lost, like she was somewhere else, not there.

Horror Nights

Horror Nights

They had not been parted before. "Lily?" I whispered. The humming stopped. The room went silent. Then her mouth moved. Not much—just a twitch—but I saw it. Her jaw shifted, opening wider. Inside her mouth, there was no painted tongue, no painted teeth. Just darkness. A sound came out. A single word, wet and broken. "Whhhhyyyyy." I screamed. Paul woke up, turned on the light. The doll was normal. Facing forward, mouth closed, eyes empty. Paul held me while I cried. He said I was overtired. He said I should see someone.

Mafia’s Hidden Flame

Mafia’s Hidden Flame

Lilia and Klara had been rushed into the underground infirmary, poison coursing through them like liquid fire. The Silence toxin wasn’t ordinary. It was a demon in liquid form. One strain killed instantly—organs convulsing, flesh changing color while the body screamed. The other was worse—slow death, slow agony, the body alive while the brain felt itself tearing apart. Both were merciless. Both unstoppable. Doctors worked tirelessly, sweat dripping, hands shaking. Yet nothing worked. Then it happened. A nurse stepped out for supplies, only to return and freeze. A package sat where there had been nothing. No footsteps, no door opening—just sudden presence. Her heart hammered as she saw the bo

Then she yelled," Why are you hiding bitch? Show me your filthy face!! You whore!! Come out!! After some time, Bhabani felt someone is standing behind her. She turned her head behind and found Anamika standing here with her previous look. Seeing her Bhabani became scared. But, still, she composed herself from the fear and yelled at Anamika," Bitch!! I know you are real. You are trying to scare me!! Huh!! Did you just forget that what can I do to you?" Hearing her Anamika laughed loudly and said with a mocking tone," Aren't you afraid of seeing my ghost? Bhabani said with too much anger," I know you are scaring me bitch. Dear author, this is the best book I read so far , u know why? Coz I could connect with each and every character. it's not that any incident is astronomical and beyond our understanding. it's like this story is weaved from the experiences of ours surrounding. thanks for writing and sharing in this.

I completed this story on other platform earlier and must say it’s worth the coins. A woman was beaten, crushed and punished for no fault of hers. But she stood up, fought and when time came she forgave her culprit. Nice evolution of the character. I m not in favour of violence though.

Silently Falling

Silently Falling

I saw two silhouettes moving towards us before everything went black. -----☆----- I could hear voices speaking but didn't know who they belonged too or what they were saying. I slowly stirred from my sleep and buried my face into the pillow. Wait, a pillow? My eyes immediately flew open and I was surrounded by white walls with pastel flowers painted on them. My hand was connected to an IV tube and the heart monitor was slowly beeping. I immediately knew I was in hospital but how I got there I did not quite know. The voices speaking were coming from outside the door and soon enough the door opened to review Dr. Dave with a clipboard in hand and mum closely behind him.

Silence or Kiss

Silence or Kiss

"We need to find out, yeah." "Captain! Chief!" We heard a woman's voice. My brain seemed shocked when I heard what the woman said. "Aizhyrra Brolonde, rank 2, confirmed that she was one of those who killed Red!" ***** A/N: "Hello author, what's your plan for SILENCE OR KISS?" Someone asked me, hahahaha. That's a secret of course. I really want you to have a hard time, eh, hehehe. Besides, I have a plan for this story and I'll keep it as a secret for now, ofcourse. I never want to spoil anyone.

HALLOWEEN

HALLOWEEN

Then, he started walking toward Oscar. "Hey!" Willow tapped Billy slowly, she stopped when we saw that they had dropped 10 nylons and the 10 bottles of blood in the cage. The other zombies rushed to get theirs and it was left with just two. She wondered where they get the blood and human parts from and shrugged as she kept on shaking Billy who would not wake up. "Hey, Billy! Can you hear me?' She tapped again as he would not respond. "Oh my God! No no no, Billy! Come on! Wake u!" She was panicking now as he would not wake up. She was trying her best not to scream as that was all she could do.

Wow! This is getting more creepy. If only they would pay more attention to Willow. And the mysterious guy is someone they should look at with keen interest. Please author, update more, I am enjoying this.
