“Of course we can, Jared. It wouldn’t be a trip to the zoo without visiting the penguins!” With their plans set, they packed a picnic lunch and set off for the zoo, eager to embark on their adventure together. As they wandered through the winding paths of the zoo, Jason and Skylar led the way, pointing out various animals and sharing interesting facts with the kids. Valentina and Lorenzo raced ahead, eager to see as many animals as possible, while Jared stayed close to Skylar, taking in the sights with wide-eyed wonder. Jason felt his heart ache with guilt for depriving his son of such an opportunity.

"Is someone onto us?" Zion's gaze flickered up to meet mine, his expression troubled as he shook his head. "No," he replied, his voice tinged with unease. "It's... something else." ~ Helen’s POV ~ The zoo was… well, exactly as I expected. Loud, crowded, and honestly not my thing. I didn’t really enjoy it much, but Lisa and Zara? They had the time of their lives. Their eyes sparkled at the sight of every animal, from the tall, graceful giraffes to the cheeky monkeys swinging from branch to branch. They giggled and took endless pictures, even convincing me to pose beside a sleepy lion—which, let me tell you, was not on my list of things to do today.

The little boy cries to go to the zoo. The weather is fine, so Nina Morrison smiles and nods, "Okay, let's go to the zoo. We will see the big lion!" The driver Martin follows Nina Morrison and Nelson, "Miss Morrison, the road to the zoo is very busy on weekends. You need to be prepared." Nina Morrison is about to say it's ok, when an idea comes to mind. She smiles and asks Nelson, "Have you ever taken the subway, baby?" There is a subway next to the zoo, which is very convenient from Gray Family. They just need Martin to drop them off at the subway entrance. Little Nelson's eyes light up, "No! Auntie, are you taking me to the zoo by subway?"

However, he didn't look like he was against me touching him because he didn't complain rather he dutifully followed me with his other hand in his pocket. As we strolled through the aisles, I couldn't contain my excitement at the array of animals. I stopped at a section housing birds, squirrels, and rabbits and my face beamed with delight. They looked so cute I couldn't help but feed them from a bag of treats through the bar. They nibbled at it and I turned to smirk at Zion "Aren't they cute?" I grinned and he just rolled his eyes "I guess they are," he said, eyeing the birds. I grinned knowing he was being truthful. His gaze softened as he watched them nibble on their food

The headline read, "Many feared dead as fire breaks out at Beecroft City Aquarium." On TV, people were shown running out of the magnificent building. Kids were screaming, coughing, and running helter-skelter. Everything clicked now. Jordan turned back to Zara—who was now frozen— and asked, "Is that the aquarium Jayden went to?" Zara nodded stiffly. Soon, she grabbed her bag and jacket, leaping to her feet. "My baby..." With quickness, Jordan slapped a few dollar bills on the table and followed Zara out. "Hey, let me give you a ride. You can't drive like that."

Maddox said as they were walking out of the amusement park. “At least, I got to hug it so tight before departing from it.” Nisha said. They drove off to the zoo and Nisha was beginning to understand the nature of humans. “So, they could do this to us too.” Nisha said. “And more.” Maddox added. Nisha was about going further when Maddox held her back. “We can't go in there, it will cause confusion and a ruckus because those animals can recognize that we aren't humans and that would cause an uproar. So, we'll go for animals like the fishes, tortoises, birds, snakes, etc.” Maddox explained.

"The zoo creeper hears when Noah explained about the animals, then they gave me this otter because Noah knew so much about animals."
