THE BETA AND I

THE BETA AND I

“You’re beautiful… Black and I missed you.” Purity whimpered the same familiar sound before her tongue swiped over my face, and I returned the gesture by kissing her snout before hugging her tightly. Catherine was still crying, and I knew she might be in an internal conversation with her wolf. Black was excited to meet his mate for the first time, but he was not pushing me to let him out and I appreciated it. He knew well enough that I would give him his own time. “Do you want to run with Black?” I asked, and she whimpered again, and Black told me she wanted to.

Lyn Novel
Got to complete rereading the story of Catherine and Tyler. I don’t mind shredding tears again! Just love these two! Thank you again, Cass for writing this. Alice and Joshua will be next in my to read list!!
Kathleen M.
This is by far the best book in the entire series (1st and 2nd generation). The characters were well developed and the story was a rollercoaster of emotions. The author continues to get better and better with every book, but it’s gonna be hard to top Catherine & Tyler’s beautiful story.

The Calling

The Calling

One hand around her neck the other handing by his side, he had long sharp nails and I think I heard a roar from him. The roar was less guttural than that of the one I heard from Cain but it instilled fear just as successfully. What caught my attention most was his burning red eyes in the dark. The sight terrified me to the bone. This was different from the wolves, they had a sense of warning and intimidation to them but from this man, I only sensed death.

Tangled In Velvet

Tangled In Velvet

“This book is not a confession. It is a record. Of power, of violence, of velvet and blood. And of the people who lived inside it some survived. Some did not.” She stared at the word “record.” Too cold. Too safe. She added a line beneath it. “If I vanish, this is the map.” That stayed. The fireplace snapped behind her. She kept typing. “The man they called Blackthorn was not the villain. But he was not a hero either. He built the stage. He built the machine. Then he fell in love with a ghost who broke it.” Her mouth tasted like copper. She hadn’t eaten since yesterday. She didn’t care.

His Beauty Queen (Book One of The Kings Series)

She grinned at her dumbfounded look. "Oh, wow! Really?" She asked. "This is like Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!" She whispered. Alexie laughed. This innocent luna was making her appreciate all the simple things in life. So sweet and adorable. "Hey, Bev!" She smiled at the barista. The girl was a she-wolf at the royal pack. Mated with pups. How she wished she could share the good news --she can't. Not yet. It has to come from their king. The pack and the kingdom will know soon enough.

Blood and Darkness

Blood and Darkness

The king was focused to Chief Black at once. "We found this in hidden in the belongings of the crown princess, Your Majesty." Chief Black lifted his hand for everyone to see. I gasped and my throat ran dry when I saw what he was holding. It is a black little bottle with black lid. "And we found out that it indeed contains the deadly extract of the poisonous flower Lily of Morte." I felt like my whole world crumbled into ashes. I couldn't move. I couldn't speak. It felt like doom was suddenly in front, standing right before me.

Last Vampire.

Last Vampire.

She was a beautiful woman, and there was little else to describe her - too much beauty in one being. She was dressed in black - a long coat with the same collar that covered a great part of her body. Elijah noticed that under it, she wore a long-sleeve blouse in a slightly lighter black color that covered her neck and wrists. Everything was black, without a hint of white or brightness. She began to walk around the room with the book in her hand, and Elijah could see her confusion and humor as she read.

Forbidden by the Triplet Alphas

Forbidden by the Triplet Alphas

The contract promised safety. It promised a roof, food, a future. It did not promise kindness. I learned that before my mother’s fingers stopped trembling against my arm. We stood in the marble foyer of Blackwood Manor, two wolves dressed in rags, surrounded by a fortune in dark wood and cold stone. The air smelled of cedar and old money, but beneath that lurked something feral—the unmistakable weight of an alpha’s territory, pressed into my lungs like smoke. My wolf stirred weakly, still sluggish from weeks of grief, and then went still again. She knew what I knew. We did not belong here.

The Luna's Revenge

The Luna's Revenge

I know you are just hiding the truth from me,' I said, and she looked at me with narrowed eyes, making me scoff, and I looked out of the window. After a ride of two hours, I changed my position and opened the window to look out of the car. "Is it a highway?" I asked, wanting to put my head out of the window, and the driver smiled before nodding. "You can enjoy the wind if you want, miss. This is not a busy highway. Do you have a relative in the Black Village? Not many people go there," The human asked, and I hummed. The black village was a facade to hide the identity of the Black blood pack from the world.

Color Me, Black

Color Me, Black

“Yes, because Sebastian may seem like a monster, but he has devoted some time to make sure that you, his family, your children survive this world he’s still having trouble navigating.” After the conversation ends, Trent had some pep to his step. After leaving his room, Sebastian moves through the living room towards his bar. Sitting there is Vera Black, a woman of moderate height and beauty. Her fashion sense is garish, and the fur-coat she wears appeared too hot for any kind of weather. “Sebastian,” the mousy woman greets, and Sebastian pauses, but continues. “Darling.” She moves around the bar to greet him, a square glass half-filled with dark liquor.
