"Do you put oats in the tank or does the horse drink gasoline? I'm a little confused as to how it all works." The elf moved sideways, his feet crisscrossing as he stepped. He swung his sword back and forth with one hand. His skin was a bluish gray, his pointy ears poked through his mane of white hair, and his red cat eyes were narrowed slits as he stared at Rhychard, waiting to cut him down. The elf wore dark pants that looked like they were costumes from Little House on the Prairie and a coarse long-sleeve tunic. He had leather boots with points that matched his ears. His fingers had nails that seemed like mini daggers. It was almost as if he were a miniature version of Vargas.

'' NOIR asks in a angry voice . '' What's the meaning behind all of this '' Stella asks . '' Eris say something ?' Arthur pleads . '' What do you want me to say ? i love you ?'' oh so embarrassing she blushes . '' All were shocked to see Eris's strange behaviour . '' Anyway , my daughter has promised i will give you the heavenly bow and spear come with me '' says the elder elf . '' Okay '' saying this Arthur went with him near the river . Elder elf puts his hand in thewater and chants '' oh holy spirit of water and the guardian spirit of elves grant me the permission to weild the heavenly bow and precious arrow '' .

He looked up with piercing yellow eyes and I exhaled sharply. “Lark, Lark Skinner,” I muttered and Aella tilted her head as she observed the pointed-eared elfman. “Why is he the color of coal?” She pried and I informed her that he was a dark elf who lived in the northern stone outcrop. Jasper jumped down before him and snarled. “We left your home alone and expected you to stay away from our daughter!” I watched in disbelief as our daughter jumped down and put her hand up to her father, her eyes narrowing at Lark.

Rhye demanded. "Portal," Elfy grumbled. "That is why I'm here milady. As always, you need a backup plan." She nodded and smiled at Elfy, which made the little guy shocked. Then she flashed Rhye glared at his ridiculous words, and then, careful to avoid the jagged shards of branches and rocks still stuck in the dirt, he motioned for Elfy to do his thing. The little guy closed his eyes and muttered some spell that opened up the ground into a pitch-dark circle. He climbed through it and, before motioning the others to follow, leapt to the portal below while the others followed.

I brush past him, crouching to examine the elf. She's ordinary, mediocre at best. Or at least compared to the ladies I see at Xanwed's court. Her face is oval-shaped, her skin is a darker shade of olive. She is garbed in a green cloak and black trouser, entirely different from the girl that fretted over her brother yesterday in a shirt and knicker. I reach out and pull a strand of hair away from her lashes.

"I won't let them harm us." Aunt Cleo's voice sliced through the air like a warning bell, her words laced with urgency and gravity. "Aqua, you need to grasp the true threat of the coven. They're not just ordinary casters. Each possesses unique abilities, ranging from unnaturally swift regeneration and inhuman strength to the sinister power to manipulate creatures and even people, turning them into spies. Some even boast of an unnerving form of immortality, extending their lives far beyond the natural order. And worst of all, they have the terrifying capability to absorb the powers of other casters."

"That's what I’m here to find out. The guy claimed these Shadows are tied to someone named Vladimir Albert Darkclaw. You know him?" Lucifer’s eyes flickered with recognition. "Vlad Darkclaw? Of course, I know him." His voice grew colder. "He’s dangerous. Ruthless in the underworld. And that's me" Aiden folded his arms, meeting Lucifer’s gaze. "Then you know this isn't a coincidence. If I want to get to the Shadows, it looks like I'll need your help." Lucifer stared at him, considering his words. After a long moment, he finally said, "You’re playing a dangerous game, Aiden. But if you want to take this path... I’ll help you. For now."
