Had it been named after Orion? My visions have confirmed that he is the Orion, from the famous Greek and Roman mythologies. But I'm confused how he went from being a revered hero to... this. I look up at the constellation again and lose my breath. They are bloodred, standing out against the black sky like three pinpricks. "Alora..." I snap my gaze and find him standing beside me. I am no longer in my den. We are in the inner conscious of my mind, surrounded by darkness and black water.

I caught glimpses of hard muscle beneath the fabric, the cursed black markings twisting over his skin glimmered as though tiny stars lived within them. And then there was Orion. He leaned against the wall as he waited for Kaden, he was already fully dressed. Not in the standard uniform though— this was something else entirely. A sleek, all-black outfit hugged his tall frame, complete with leather harnesses strapped across his chest and knives glinting from their sheaths. Black gloves encased his hands, and polished boots gleamed under the weak morning light. The mask was the final touch, covering the lower half of his face and giving him an air of untouchable danger.

"We will see you at dinner." Relief washed over Iris's face. "Thanks. See you then." Iris awkwardly dodged Lorriane as she slipped out of the room. "Are you going to introduce me to your mate?" Lorraine asked expectantly. It's not like she ever introduced me to hers. "Lorraine, this is Orion, Alpha of the Black Moon and my mate. Orion, this is Lorraine, my oldest sibling."
