I take a deep breath as I quicken my pace. 'I can do this' I mutter, the words repeating themselves in my head like a mantra. Rose quietly unlocked the door and slipped out of the room. Without wasting a second, she booked a taxi and left from there. 🚕🚕 Meanwhile, when Daniel Blackwood finished his call and entered the room, his eyes immediately shifted toward the washroom. The door was open. He walked into the attached changing area. Empty. Rose was gone. A sharp silence filled the room. In a sudden burst of anger, Daniel stormed back into the room, grabbed a flower vase from the table, and smashed it onto the floor. 💥

A few days later. Rose had significantly recovered from her trauma thanks to Matthew. Now she was sitting in the library, reading books as she usually would on a normal day. The book she was reading was titled: King of Chaos, The Scarlett King. The contents were about the characteristics of Leviticus Scarlett, his life story, his uprising and his end. Details including his family and empire were also written. Rose had the past few days learning about it. The door squeaked open and Matthew entered the library. He looked at the wall where the paint was not really matching in colour to the rest of it. Then he walked towards the table where Rose was sitting.

Since she had sorted out Alisa and had nothing else to do, she opened the book she had brought outside with her and started feeling engrossed in it. Thirty minutes later, she was still reading the book when her mind suddenly wandered off to something. " Yes, how could I forget about those two things?!” Rose suddenly spring up from her seat and rushed back into her bedroom. She quickly grabbed the black backpack which she had brought along with her when she arrived at the mansion. She opened a small secret compartment in the backpack and took out two small boxes.

Her eyes scanned the upper row until they landed on the book, Oath of Blood. She recognized its heavy golden spine instantly. With a nervous breath, Rosa pulled it out, clutching it tightly before she stepped down. Without wasting another second, she made her way to the table and sat. Her fingers trembled slightly when she opened the book. Page after page, Rosa flipped, desperately searching for that letter. The letter wasn’t in the beginning. It wasn’t in the middle either. Rosalie flipped faster. She knew she shouldn’t be doing this without asking him but still she couldn’t help herself.
