Every step she took, it felt like the air leaned toward her. Hungry. They exited into the underground parking structure where a black vehicle waited with its engine running. No markings. Tinted windows. The kind of car that didn’t exist unless it needed to. Elara stopped walking. “I’m not getting in that,” she said. Alexander turned to face her fully. Up close, she could see the cracks in his composure—the faint bruise at his temple, the stiffness in his shoulders. He was tired. Frightened, even, though he’d die before admitting it.

She turned around to see Lisa running towards her, a look of urgency etched on her face. At first, Emily frowned, wondering what could be the matter. "What happened?" Emily asked, concern evident in her voice as she watched Lisa approach. The man with the black veil stood concealed in a remote corner, his gaze fixed on the unfolding scene before him. Hidden behind the shroud that veiled his entire face, his features remained inscrutable, betraying no hint of his intentions.

Daniel asked without taking his amused look off Sam. “It will be another time, my girlfriend is indisposed and we have to go back,” Arthur answered half uncomfortably. He didn't like that man, just as he didn't like the fact that he was a friend of the Deltons and Jones, it was obvious that he was part of their shady business. “By the way, you didn't answer my question,” Daniel attacked. “It's a private question, Mr. White. You alone have had the decency to ask about my bride's veil, it is a custom in her country," he lied to get out of the way.

I had to get out of there, but not before I peeked inside the secret room. I took the pen that he let fall and drew the songbird code on my wrist. I then made out in search of my way towards it. Once I got to it, I knocked. Just as I suspected, they inquired for the code. I exposed my fake tattoo then suddenly, the door jolted open. It revealed a long, stretched, bare, dark corridor illuminated by red and pink neon lights. Was it some sort of club? The girl who had opened the door, stepped out from behind it and pushed it, closed. She had red hair which most of it was tucked under her black beanie. She had on a black mask covering the lower part of her face, her eyes the only ones visible.

It was only a few moments later that Valerie realized that she was still wearing the man's black coat.

As long as 'they' leave him alone, he gladly becomes a blind and deaf person, momentarily. Fifteen minutes passed in an excruciatingly slow manner. A startling scream is sounding from behind, and it is a girl's scream. Rather than a scream, it's more like a desperate wailing. He felt shivers running down his spine. He wore the cap and went out walking past the man by the door. He was wearing a total black attire making him look suspicious of himself. People on Island wore more bright and colorful dresses and they preferred colorful dresses and surrounding too over dull and black and gloomy ones. Roads had flowers on their sides giving a very beautiful view. But Boss hated the all the colors except Red. Of course he loved the color of blood very much.Afterall blood was his love.
