The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

The Lycan Prince’s Puppy

Just as she was about to speak, a wave of cold, wicked laughter filled the space, sending instant shivers through my body. Adelaide gasped, her expression hardening. “We don’t have much time,” she said urgently, looking around. “Hold my hands.” “Who was that?” I asked, grabbing her hands. “And where am I?” “You are in the Veil,” Adelaide explained. “We are not alone here.” “What is the Veil?” Adelaide shook her head, her grip tightening. “We don’t have much time,” she whispered before her eyes began glowing again. “Wait, no—“

A year has already passed, and the book is still not finished. Although it is very well written (except for the chapters where the action drags), I have started to get bored. I keep waiting for “ the war that ends the world” but it never comes.

I used to wait for the chapters but now it is unnecessarily dragged on. Author builds up for climax so nicely but unfortunately it never comes which leaves reader frustrated and at some point gives up ( like me). Seems like lot of tease without any ending.

Billionaire's Dark veil

Billionaire's Dark veil

, folding my arms over my chest, he ignored sipping his wine like he didn't care as always, I got angry, giving him a stern look and decided to Walk way heading over to the stairs, I felt the urge to speak, I turned fixing my gaze on him, “You were the one that asked me to pose as a biographer, and I'm doing my job, I'm taking it bit by bit, how do you expect me to force his dark veil to be shown huh?” I spat angrily, not minding what comes with it, my heart was filled with pain, rage. I want to spill my mind, just when I had said my mind, Hillary burst into a loud laughter, “ You're wasting my time, go ahead and scream,” He said, his face showed anger, he glared at me, “You don't ever appre

Fated Vengeance: A Mate's Reckoning

Fated Vengeance: A Mate's Reckoning

“It’s where it all began.” The flame nodded, her light flaring, illuminating the Cradle’s heart—a massive crystal, not like the tower’s core but rougher, primal, embedded in the stone, its glow shifting—red, violet, gold—pulsing with the runes, the mark, the dagger, the shard. “The Veil was forged here,” she said, her voice—my voice—resonant, echoing off the cliffs. “Your blood, our blood, sealed it. Now it’s breaking, and only the trinity can choose its fate.”

Beneath the Diamond Veil

Beneath the Diamond Veil

Then I set the phone down and got up. The sun was starting to move across the kitchen wall, catching on the edge of my discarded wedding veil on the counter. I’d brought it home last week after the final fitting. I picked it up now, ran my fingers over the delicate lace. A few days ago, I’d imagined walking down the aisle wearing it. Now it felt like someone else’s dream. Someone I used to be. In the middle of that thought, the TV in the living room flickered on. I hadn’t touched the remote. It was the news feed that auto-played sometimes when my cable restarted.

The Scar Beneath The Veil

The Scar Beneath The Veil

The birth of Lorenzo Valenti did not bring softness to the mansion; it brought a new, diamond-hard focus. If Amara was the foundation and Emiliano the wall, the infant was the holy relic at the center of the cathedral. The air in the South Wing grew thinner, charged with a level of protection that bordered on the religious.

Mistress of the Veil

Mistress of the Veil

“What..what do you mean twins prophecy? Everyone always said that having twins was rare and that when we had you and your sister the Elders said wonderful things were coming. What don’t we know?” “A lot mom. The last Mistress of the Veil and her harem weren’t murdered until they had their first baby, or should I say babies. The prophecy about the first born Veil twins said; A betrayal will begin the end and that what was thought to be known will be cast aside for the truth. Rebirth and determination of the Light and the Right will always prevail.” Taking a sip of my tea and giving my parents a minute to absorb what they’ve heard, I brace myself for the rest. Setting my tea down and running m

Veil of Secrets

And then there was the final catalyst: a double-inscribed seal that bound both triggers into one failsafe. “I’m going to hurt you,” I said. Evelina rolled up her sleeve and presented her arm without hesitation. “So do most things that are worth surviving.” I chewed on the inside of my cheek to avoid replying that last time I felt something worth surviving, it had been her arm wrapped around my shoulders. We set to work without further conversation.

I Married My Enemy to Destroy Him

I Married My Enemy to Destroy Him

BLACK VEIL. Seraphina touched the file. Her fingers trembled. “What’s inside?” “The beginning.” She opened it. The first page contained a date. October 17, 2001. Seraphina’s eyes widened. “That was the year I was born.” “I know.” She turned the page. A child’s medical records appeared. Blood type. Genetic markers. Neurological observations. Psychological assessments. Her name had been erased. Instead, there was a designation. SUBJECT 001.

Elixir: Fated To The Three Alpha

Elixir: Fated To The Three Alpha

“It makes her the veil’s queen. But you’re the people’s.” Ewen added, “And now the veil wants to decide between you.” At midnight, I sat alone at the altar again, flame weaving through my fingers without thought The veil in front of me shimmered gently, calm for now I closed my eyes And whispered a single word “Why?” And the veil responded Not in words In visions I saw her Not a shadow Not a wraith A queen Seated on a throne carved from ribs and roses Wolves bent before her in silence, marked not by bond but by oath

Blind and Bound

Blind and Bound

The hooves of our horses awaken some of the people of my pack, causing them to peek out their windows and doors to see what the commotion is about. Before long, we reach the courtyard of the palace and begin to dismount. After a quick debriefing, I release the men to go home to get some rest. Turning, I focus on the woman at my side and find myself floored. Her hood has fallen back to reveal raven hair, the light of dawn causes rainbows to shimmer in the long strands. Her beauty takes my breath away, but that isn’t what truly floors me. Her eyes, her eyes are a dull shadow violet. She’s blind.
