She hissed as Mateo caught the gun before it could reach the floor. He put his cold hand around her nape and pulled her forward – until her forehead was inches away from his. Faith shrieked and gaped. He placed the gun on her throat. Faith gasped as Mateo pressed the barrel into her throat, “You are not as smart as you think,” He commented, “You have a lot more to learn, Foxy.” He added.

It was the embodiment of a predator and it was assigned to kill me. The thing reeled back its head after in a great roar as if to bellowed out fire on me, the tiny figure standing in front of it. I instinctively rose the Aurora sword in front of me. Instead of normal flame, it blew out a steady stream of black and purple fire. The sword sliced it in half, protecting me. After the breath, it turned its head and gazed at me with one bright golden hazel eye. The fearsome intelligence I saw in it scared me even more. I was going to have to defeat this thing, and it might possibly be smarter than me. It was most definitely stronger.

I slipped out of his grip, leaping over the edge of the bath and Shifted. Annie barely reached the top of it. She was a cream and white everywhere except her paws, the tips of her tail which were pure black like she stepped in ink, and her eyes. Which one was green like mine, while the other was crystal white, almost like she was blind, but the eye saw in shades and colours I couldn't dream to imagine. Xavier looked down at her over the bath. He smirked. "Hello, Annie. You're a very pretty Foxen."

KELLY THOMPSON'S POV In a brilliant explosion of light, the darkness shattered, and the Black Faes were thrown back into the shadows from whence they came. Baddy's shrieks of fury echoed in the air as he was forced to retreat, his power diminished and his malevolent presence momentarily vanquished. The battlefield, once chaotic and filled with the sounds of clashing steel and desperate cries, fell silent. The oppressive weight of the darkness lifted, replaced by the faint glow of the moonlight breaking through the clouds.

Yet, there seemed to be no bullet fired. “The magazines are here.” Tyr lifted his hand, showing the clip in his hand. “I told you that your gun couldn’t kill me.” Foxy froze. It was like she had seen a ghost. Tyr had not only dodged her first bullet but also stole her magazine from right under her nose. She did not notice a single thing or even grasped when he had struck. The speed far exceeded Foxy’s understanding. “You can have it back.” Tyr did not show a shred of mercy. He slammed his palm to Foxy’s chest and the other to her mouth. In a blink of an eye, Tyr had already stuffed a handful of bullets into her mouth.

Her short black hair frames her face and is cut just above her chin, her light brown eyes look like they’re shining from the adrenaline she’s feeling, and from her smirk I can see a deep dimple in her left cheek. Her voice is taunting as she says, “Well, well, well, if isn’t Penelope Fox’s daughter, the new white wolf.” She gives an over exaggerated pout as she says, “Looks like she got caught in the wolf’s den.” My eyes flicker around me, I need something to help me get leverage. Her eyes look wild, and I know this is Beatrix Black, but I find it odd how much more wild and unhinged she looks compared to her brother who had been cursed.

Every earthy, oversexed inch of him absolutely repelled her and there was a certain deadly attraction to that amount of revulsion… Christophe moved with the grace of a prowling tiger. He had the face of a dark fallen angel and the stunning magnetism of a very physical male. She studied the dark planes of his impassive features, the clear golden eyes set beneath winged black eyebrows and the savagely high cheekbones which lent such fierce strength to his face. Her gaze glossed over the stubborn jut of a decidedly Greek nose and the wide perfection of his narrow mouth before hurriedly falling away.

“You can never defeat me.” Without giving Darkness a chance to react, he turned into his wolf, pushing Darkness back a few feet away. His wolf was huge, eyes glowing white with obsidian fur that could consume any light. He bent into a fighting position, menacing as he growled at Darkness. Darkness cracked his neck to the side, releasing his shadows so they could play.

The black fire fox didn’t stop; she sent the red moon fox flying and then, with her small fist, punched the red moon fox hard in the stomach. BOOOOMMMMMM “Agh!”
