he asked pointing out the obvious. "No", Bartimaeus answered shocking Sasha slightly, "Black would be an obvious color, but black usually has some positive implications, such as strength, authority, elegance, formality, authority, rebellion, and sophistication. Black is required for all other colors to have depth and variation of hue. It's actually quite a prestigious color, however people always associate it with evil and darkness", he sighed, "But that's human. I've learned, discrimination based on color, just seems normal", he shrugged accepting.

Meanwhile, Adrian came to my side, and looking at me with more questions, he picked me in his arms. «she needs a doctor, now,» he said and escorted me to the open room, Atlas’s room. I held on to him, it felt weird, he was angry, warm, and afraid, and fear radiate out of him. He placed me on the bed and I felt a bolt of pain in my left arm where the wound was healing, making me scream my heart out; I looked at my hand, seeing black veins covering the wound. «What is that?» asked Hunter. The pain was unbearable, but I knew what was this, black blood, I have been marked.

The black type of witch is a race, while the change of blood color – purple to black – is a consequence and a curse that cannot be broken forever. I closed our main gate and went back to my bedroom to get my big black backpack. While Jennifer is not home, I decided to go for a hike on Mt. Labo to collect special ingredients or different kinds of herbs and flowers that can only be found in remote mountains. I’m going to use it for the products of my company. I opened our gate once again, headed straight to my McLaren F1 and drove it out of my garage. Then I got out of my car again and closed the gate again.

And I was going back. I wiped my eyes with the back of my hands and forced myself up off the counter. I had to be strong. Papa wouldn’t want this. I packed enough for a couple days and before I knew it, I was getting off a plane and walking down the runway in a trance. It all went by in a hazy blur. I didn’t remember leaving my apartment, let alone getting on a plane, but here I was, just outside the airport. I hailed a cab and told the driver where I was going. He chuckled and raised a bushy black eyebrow. “Blackwater, eh? I don’t think I’ve ever been,” he leaned closer to the rear view mirror and lowered his voice. “I’ve heard rumors about the people there.”

“On top of that, there’s a moat surrounding Blackwater City called Blackwater River. The water in this river is rapid, and it looks like a vast black river. It is the namesake of Blackwater City. “The river is also quite peculiar as nothing from the outside world can float on it. Only special boats from Blackwater City can traverse the river safely.” That characteristic of the river was similar to the underworld. Then, they began a long flight. Despite the speedy immortal artifact vessel that Caelum had prepared for Andrius, it took them a long time to get to the ex

I smirked, then instead of pouring the water into his mouth, I poured it on his eyes and forehead, making sure not even a single drop gets into his mouth, "what are you doing! I asked you to open your mouth wider, the water is getting finished. Don't you want to drink?" Blackwood moved his head upwards, and then I shifted my hand upward, and poured the entire thing on the bed. "Too bad, the water is finished. But at least, you got to bathe. Cause this whole room is stinking, you reek Blackwood." I covered my nose, my face scrunched up into a disgusted face. "Please... please... water... water..." He said slowly, breathing heavily. "But I don't have any more water, you just wasted the last on

Dirty. I'm too dirty. I felt filthy, used. I rubbed the sponge on my scars. Scrubbing like I was insane. Maybe I am. The wounds opened up, blood flowed more profusely out. I sat quietly listening to the drip sound that echoed in the bathroom as my blood tapped the surface of the still water. It was soothing. The crimson swam slowly in the water, snaking its way through. It dominated like a cloud of red. ***************************** I sat, arms crossed out over my thighs. Eyes stared out into the dark night. My gaze hovered over the trees that seemed to run for acres. The moon hang high in the sky. Streaks of silver illuminating my face.

How has she not sensed me yet? I watch as she continues dancing, swaying her hips, and twisting her arms above her head. I’m captivated. She takes a step towards the center of the pond. No! This is called Black Hole Pond because it goes from incredibly shallow to indescribably deep without any warning. She falls in and I watch, in shock, as she thrashes and splashes underneath the water, before suddenly, the water stills.

"Kid, this place is infamous because no one ever leaves. Doesn't matter who you are—your future is as dark as the black puddles flooding the floor. There's just no hope to be had. "Good behavior? Parole? None of those things apply—here in Blackwater, you have two options. Either die here, or survive on food that's worse than chicken feed." "Interesting," Frank murmured, nodding thoughtfully. Seeing that Frank was not giving up, the geezer shook his head, sighed, and closed his eyes, refraining from talking at all. It appears that the young man doubted him after all, but such was the willfulness of youth. When he had hit the wall enough times, he would understa

I could hear the crashing of the water from below calling me. I went closer to the edge slowly and stood right at the tip. I had never contemplated suicide, no matter how hard it had gotten. I had never let the thought cross my mind because I knew there was no going back after brewing it. It was like a one-way road that went in only one direction, a thought process that would never stop, not until it was unable to. A thought process that would only lead to my death. A thought I finally allowed myself to process. I wanted it, no, I craved it.
