RED : True Love

RED : True Love

Despite not saying it, Blake knew Thea was from a fallen noble family. Remembering that, his mouth smirked. Ah, how long the time had passed that he had almost forgotten his friend's face. Blake leaned his upper body deeper into the sofa. "Tell her to come see me when she back." Sloan answered politely. … Thea was in an empty house on the outskirts of town. This was the place she had secretly bought with Lubez's help. Sometimes, she wants to be alone but had no idea where to go. Thea knew Blake was watching her. So she used the money she invested in Black Eagle to buy this building.

Fateful Collision

Fateful Collision

Along one side of the property was what he assumed to be a sweat lodge in addition to a number of traditional Katakun huts made of buffalo hides and with the tops soot-stained from repeated use so they appeared to have been scorched. Near the farthest part of the land stood a sizable barn in the usual colors of red and white, as well as several corrals made of peeled poles, three sheds made of wood, and something that appeared to be a chicken coop. The aroma of cows, goats, lambs, horses, pigs, and chicks was carried on the breeze by a gentle breeze. Gwen said, "Home, sweet home," as she moved closer to him and stood next to him. Phil quipped, "Beats the hell out of Raquel's basement," as he

Mackayla’s Story

Mackayla’s Story

Blake clenched his teeth tight and his fangs and claws pierced. Blake opened his connection to Carson still guarding. We may be a little late got sidetrack and now we have an officer here doing his duty. Blake turned to Mackayla and saw the stag at the edge of the trees. There was a doe and a fawn in the meadow about fifty feet away. He grasped Mackayla's chin and turned her head so she would see the doe and fawn. "So pretty" she said. "Not as pretty as you" Blake replied. He dropped his hand back to her knee as the officer started back. She smiled but Blake caught a bad feeling from behind.

The Billionaire's Possession

The Billionaire's Possession

They stayed in the church for several hours, the crystal ashtray full of burnt cigarette butts, the room filled with the pungent smell of tobacco. Blake stood up, picked up his suit jacket, and walked out. At this point in time, there should be no one left at the cemetery, he was going to send his mother off for the last time. At some point, a light drizzle had begun to fall from the sky. It was like a tear that had left the world. Dark clouds covered the sky above his head. Blake’s dark green Land Rover quickly sped along the road, and the rain got heavier and heavier. From afar, he could only see a delicate black figure silently standing in front of a brand-new tombstone. She quietly stood

Haunter

Haunter

It opened with a shot from the drone flying over the Quabbin toward the shore, then over the woods. Brandon’s voice-off narration had an ominous echo to add to his solemn tone, as he spoke the words clearly and slowly. “Hidden in rural New England, away from big cities and crowded streets, is the place that changed my life forever: Blotter Manor.” The drone slowed down when it reached the garden, to show the old Victorian in all her glory under a bright blue sky.

Alpha's Last Chance

Alpha's Last Chance

Her heart pounded in her chest, a mix of exhaustion and panic. "He's probably just wandered off again," Robert said, trying to keep his tone steady, though his clenched jaw betrayed him. "You know how boys are." Helena shot him a glance, her worry etched into every line of her face. "Not this far, Robert. Not this late." Their boots crunched over dry leaves and twigs as they neared the edge of the property. The old barn loomed ahead, its silhouette jagged and broken against the night sky. Once a place of laughter and hard work, it now stood like a decaying relic, forgotten and ominous.

Looking around as feet’s dances around the beach we booked, actually Harley booked it. I believe this party will be tuned overnight, since it not yet night and everywhere is still crowded. There ain’t no cake, u don’t expect cakes and wines in a teen party right?.

Meet Me Halfway

Meet Me Halfway

And got out of the car. She looked out across his land, it was a big space and was hit by a big wave of pride. She’d known how the place had looked before he came. The cabin had stood tall and strong as it did, but he’d repainted, cleared away the debris, refurbished the building that now stood a barn, and even did a sort of path that led from the barn to the back of his house, where his kitchen was. Bryan maher had taken something old and Abandoned, and turned into something beautiful, he’d turned it into a home. Tears stung her eyes, oh but why did the thought of a home make her weepy?

The moon goddess chose wrong: twice

The moon goddess chose wrong: twice

The farmhouse looked exactly as the reconnaissance had described. A low stone building set back from a dirt track, the red barn listing badly to one side behind it, half its roof gone to whatever storms had taken it. Overgrown yard. Dark windows. The smell of abandonment and old wood and the particular quality of a place that had been empty long enough to forget what occupancy felt like. Nothing moved. Which was, I noted as I crouched at the tree line with Max beside me, slightly too clean. “Something’s wrong,” Max said quietly into the mind link.

She Runs with Wolves

She Runs with Wolves

“I didn’t realise how close Hawthorn was to the sea.” “It’s not close, exactly, but it’s close enough.” He leant his head on top of mine, and pulled my hands into his lap, holding on to them gently and running the pads of his fingertips across my knuckles. “Was Hollowbridge near the sea?” I shook my head, feeling his bounce with the slight movement of mine. “No. It was rural – all rolling fields and wide rivers, hay bales and green trees.”

Swanne Lake
Such an exciting read so far! I am enjoying getting to know our main characters and discovering how their lives have come together while trying to anticipate what might happen next as each chapter is released. Having just finished the entirety of The Beta’s Daughter, this author is an amazing writer
Susan
A fantastic second novel, with a refreshingly different tone from the previous entry. The mythologies in this are very well developed and I am very excited to see how the story unfolds! The protagonist and her love interest and very engaging too and I am rooting hard for them!
