Blank Featureless Mask Novels & Stories

When Vivienne opened her eyes, she realized that this mask was different from the one Damien had sent. “It’s a cat-mask,” Marcus explained while Vivienne felt where the mask covered the entire upper portion of her face, from her forehead to the apples of her cheeks. “I would have preferred a full-face, but that might have drawn more attention.” “What about you?” She wondered, and then scoffed when the man reached into his pocket and pulled out a plain black domino mask. The sort of basic affair you could get from any fancy dress shop. “Oh, come on–”

"You're not seeing the big picture here. I'm not going to her as 'me'. I'm going to her as 'you'." Xander's brows furrowed in confusion for a second. I loved that look of uncertainty. It wouldn't last long, though, because soon he'd understand exactly what I meant. I reached into my jacket pocket and pulled out the mask. It was smooth, flesh-coloured, and moulded perfectly to look just like Xander. I had it custom-made, every feature copied down to the last detail. It was going to be flawless. His eyes widened in shock as I held the mask up for him to see.

An elegant onyx-black mask, etched with faintly glowing wolf runes. My eyes narrowed. “The mask is designed to hide your aura,” He referred to Maverick. “It will help distort your voice, block scent tracking and also cloaks your magical signature and facial recognition” He said. I took the mask, staring and admiring it. A key for walking into human spaces without detection. “It’s bound to your energy,” Ardan said. “Only you can remove it. And if it breaks... we have problems.” I crossed my arms. “So you’re going to play Batman now?”

The fabric was soft to the touch, and I could feel its lightweight enveloping me, giving me a look that was both elegant and daring. My lips, painted a bright red, shone like rubies, attracting the eye and adding a touch of sensuality to my appearance. I had taken care to emphasize my eyes with delicate makeup, and to complete it all, I had chosen a black Venetian mask, decorated with delicate patterns that added an aura of mystery to my face. The mask perfectly matched my features, hiding part of my identity while revealing another side of myself, more daring and intriguing. I no longer wanted to be perceived as a fragile little thing, ready to break at any moment, like a delicate glass exp

“No other way.” Matthew took a deep breath and took off the rebreather. He scanned it on the Dragoknight and it was successfully absorbed. Still, he couldn’t have worn it while still underwater but at least it won’t break. [Damn, the mask is already broken.] Arshild said. (What?!) [It’s a little crack on the frame and glass, but should still be functional.] (Can’t you fix it?) [No. We don’t have data on a perfect one. You will have to make do with it for now.]

Inside, in the cabin, it was choking and tense as Rachel and Vanessa stood in front of the old wooden mirror, with their reflections staring back—two women on the brink of something dangerous, irreversible. Vanessa was the first to move, reaching for the black leather mask lying on the table. The mask was simple in its effectiveness: sleek, featureless, and only serving to obscure identity without drawing attention. Her hands were steady as she fitted it, pulling the straps tight behind her head. The mask covered her eyes, leaving only her mouth exposed, but it was enough. It made her feel powerful, detached, as if she were someone else entirely, someone capable of doing anything.

My breath faltered. His mask was black, sleek, covering the entire top half of his face. It wasn’t decorated with jewels or feathers like the others. It was plain but sharp, made of something smooth that shone faintly in the light. Where the eyes should have been, there was a thin black mesh. I couldn’t see through it, yet somehow… I felt his gaze. Heavy. Burning. Pinning me in place like I was the only person in the room worth seeing. Goosebumps rose along my arms.

The runes flickered with a cold red glow, as if absorbing the surrounding vitality. Their faces were hidden behind black masks, revealing only pairs of lifeless eyes. Their pupils were completely black, devoid of any luster, like two cold pieces of obsidian.

It was against the rule for those beyond the final stage of innate level to enter. He exhaled softly, threw away these distracting thoughts to the back of his mind for the time being, and quickly took out a common-looking mask from the Mustard Seed Spirit Ship. Then, he hurriedly put it over his face. Frank, who had been observing Fane all this while, frowned thoughtfully.

Was this not Doomsday’s high-tech simulation mask? As soon as the mask was attached to human skin and pressed on, it could achieve the purpose of facial change. However, the mask was of high-tech material and could not be torn off after fusing with one’s skin. Otherwise, it would cause damage to the dermis. The skin could only slowly absorb it over time before restoring the person’s original appearance.
