Neon Desert

Neon Desert

Razion appeared from the corner of his view, extending a palm to him. He reached out and held onto his wrist and let his subordinate right him up. Keron pulled his Blast Rifle and aimed ahead. The Dusk Riders are very numerous that he doesn't need to aim meticulously to get a straight shot. Keron trained his weapon at the most easiest target and dropped him with a squeeze of his trigger. His target's chestplate dented inwards before the plasma shots penetrated through and scorched its breastbone deep enough to damage the alien's innards.

They moved as one, anticipating each other's actions and supporting one another without hesitation. In the midst of their training, a sudden disturbance caught their attention. The ground trembled, and a dark cloud appeared on the horizon. The group tensed, ready for battle. Elysia's eyes narrowed as she studied the approaching threat. "It's the Destroyers. They're coming." The group quickly assumed defensive positions, their hearts pounding with anticipation. They knew the final confrontation was imminent, and they had to be ready. As the Destroyers approached, the air crackled with tension. Fen, their leader, stood at the forefront, his eyes gleaming with malice. "You've grown stronger," h

Fated Enemies

Edwin sighed angrily, and ran back, jumping through the treetops. As he approached, he saw the destroyed, bodies shattered on the ground, a green figure ran into the forest. "Night Soldiers!" He whispered angrily. He heard Alexa approach and climbed down the tree. He began to analyze the situation. Frustrated. "It ruined everything!" He complained. He ran his fingers through one of the cuts of a human, doused his fingers with the blood, then brought it to his mouth. "What happened here?" Alexa ran to the camp after tethering Jax to a tree.

[Almicione out] Mordecai looked at the direction where the bullet came from, but all he saw were a line of oak trees in the far distance. “Oh, that must be Matt.” Dorin said with a grin as he went over to Johan’s side. “Now we’ve got only 3 members left.” “And we are down to one.” Xander said with a sigh as they watched Boulvar fight with Margarette. “You are truly a fine member of the Gunnar clan.” Boulvar said as Mar tossed him yet again to the ground. “But a mere weapon is not enough to beat a true mage.” He clapped his hands together and called to the wind. “Wind Scythe!”

Harvested

I punch his red eye, and he snarls loudly. A slight movement to my left draws my attention, and I see my battered mate desperately climbing to her feet. My opponent uses my distraction and lands a massive blow to my gut. I swing my left to force him back, and he blocks it. I need to kill him, but Krystal's presence is throwing me. All I can smell is her blood, and all I can hear is her racing heart. I want to scoop her up and remove her from this, but I can't.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sad, sweet, dramatic, romantic, violent, and had a wonderful ending. My only complaint is that some chapters that are from a different POV repeat 90% of the same scenes stated in another chapter. If they had been combined some way it would have been perfect!

BOUND TO THE ENEMY

BOUND TO THE ENEMY

“C'mon, baby, wake up. Baby, wake up, don't leave me, come on!" A gunshot burst through everything, paralyzing Max, bringing his face up and directing his gaze toward the guards. He saw B.J. breathing heavily on top of Boreanaz. His hand was tucked under his body not revealing the weapon that had just triggered. The agent broke away in anger and extreme fatigue, realizing what he had done. One, two, three, four, five. "Wake the fuck up, baby!"

she whispered, tears streaming down her face. Emily reached out, but Aurora stepped back, shaking her head. Her mind raced as she grappled with the impossible truth. How could her mate—her destined partner—be the enemy? Aurora stammered, “My mate—Hunter—is my enemy.” Aurora stood in stunned silence, her body frozen. For a moment, it felt like time itself had stopped. Her wide eyes stared blankly ahead as she placed a trembling hand on her forehead. “Oh my God,” she whispered, her voice cracking. “How can my mate… my mate… be my enemy? No, no, this can’t be happening. The Moon God wouldn’t do this to me!”

The CEO's Secret Weapon: Her Husband

"If I'm not mistaken, your organs have already shattered. Not even God can save you now!" Boaz declared. Startled for just the briefest moment, Damian couldn't help but laugh. Looking quite amused, he asked, "You think I lost?" "Isn't that obvious?" Boaz retorted arrogantly, brimming with self-confidence. The Iron Strike was a treacherous technique that involved hiding inner energy within the strike, catching others off guard. He'd defeated countless formidable enemies with this attack, even killing semi-grandmasters who were half a martial realm above him.

he said, his voice firm. The den shook again—explosions outside. “They’re attacking!” Dax shouted, slashing a drone. I nodded, rallying the team. “Defend!” I yelled. Gabriel fought beside me, his moves graceful. I hacked a turret, disabling it. Sparks flew, and he grinned. “Teamwork,” he panted. I smirked, slashing a guard. Dax took a hit, stumbling. “Vera!” he called. I rushed over, patching him. “Hold on,” I whispered. He nodded, gritting his teeth. Dad covered us, blood flying.

Behind her came the rest of our usual crew—Axel, whose massive frame looked ridiculous squeezed into his bright yellow racing suit; Luna, the only other woman brave enough to compete in this testosterone-fueled world; and Dash, whose nickname was earned by his complete inability to drive anything slower than terrifying. "Miss me?" I asked, pulling off my driving gloves with a flourish. "Like a heart attack," Violet grinned, pulling me into a fierce hug. "Though I have to say, you're looking particularly dangerous tonight. New outfit?" "New attitude," I replied, letting my smirk speak for itself. Axel whistled low. "Remind me never to piss you off. You look like you could kill someone with a
