I can see Blaze struggling with himself, but ultimately he lowers the gun, proving me right. “Blaze?! What the hell are you doing!” She shouts at him. “Scarlett! Stop.” Blaze remarks. I can see it was painful for him to do so, but he’s a smart man. There’s nothing he could say or do to make him prove that he had control. When really that had fallen onto me, the moment Blaze arrived.

"She is living in hell but she is not broken, Yang" Damon looked out of the window towards the place where she slapped him. "There is a fire in her big eyes... They dazzle, they blaze and I want to test it... I want to snatch that fire from her eyes." He smirked evilly. "She will be my exception, my distraction!"

“Don’t let this one get away, son.” Nick was quick to respond. “I do not intend to.” Blaze extended his hand to me; I shook it. “We make perfect music together, Mackenzie. Our chemistry is undeniable.” Then he pulled my hand to his lips and gave it a kiss. “I don’t know how many threats I need to give you before it actually gets through your thick skull,” Nick said to Blaze, his voice full of warning. Blaze laughed. “Relax, bro. You know I won’t do anything to you that you won’t do to me.” Then he winked at Nick before leaning forward to give him a hug. “See you soon, big brother.”

Blaze says, pulling back. Felix’s eyes flick to me like he wants to stab me in the throat. “Your building’s still not safe?” he asks. Blaze shakes his head. “Not yet.” “You can come to my place. You know that.” I snort. “A mini apartment? How cozy.” “Fuck off,” Felix mutters. “He’s fine,” Blaze says quickly, placing a hand on Felix’s shoulder. “I’ll be okay. If this asshole fucks up, I’ll kill him myself.”

I started singing along, my voice loud and off-key. Blaze’s eyes widened, his head whipping toward me. “Oh my god. What is that sound?” I smacked his arm, laughing. “Hey! I’m an amazing singer, okay?” He grinned, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Sure you are. I’ve heard dying cats sound better.” I gasped, my jaw dropping. “Take that back!” He shrugged, his lips twitching. “Nope.” I narrowed my eyes, a mischievous smile forming on my lips. “Fine. Then I’ll just sing louder.”

[Narrator's POV] Except for pairs like Frisia and Raiden, the practicality shows that only close-range and big weapons can defeat a huge and strong enemy in an urgent way. Without cooperation, Blaze wouldn’t win against Jack, since it takes a lot of concentration for a slingshot user to hit a certain target with enough force. The enemy moves in different directions every single time, which is really challenging and difficult on Blaze's side.

BLADE 3. Pain. It was all I felt when I shot my eyes opened. I felt so sore and tired. The memories of how Lorenzo plunged deeper into me last night filled my mind. He was so cruel to me. I didn't find any enjoyment in it at all. I tried lifting my hands and I was happy It was back to functioning. My tit hurts too as a result of the sucking he did last night.

"Look, Antonio." She started. "It's not what you think. We're not together. He's my mate doesn't mean we're mated." She tried to explain.

He just ignored him and went back to where he was looking. Rave just felt that Leon walked towards him. Then a fire from a lighter appeared in front of him. He looked at Leon coldly and the man just raised his eyebrows at him. Rave's taller and more well built, he can tackle this annoying blonde guy with an annoying piercing but he knows better to not do that. Rave just put the cigarette in between his lips and leaned a little to light it. When he was done, Leon covered the lighter to put off the fire.

Chapter 142 Viona's POV The smell of burning metal still clung to me as I drove away from the flaming wreck that had once been the assassins' truck. My hands gripped the wheel tightly, my knuckles pale in the faint light of the dashboard. My blouse was sticky with drying blood, my ribs ached from the slash, but my wolf's healing had begun its slow work. I told myself it was over-for tonight at least. Apart from the damaged hood, my car still looked alright.
