The blue folder hit Chad in the chest and slid to the floor. Several receipts inside were scattered open. Chad didn't reach down to pick them up. He just stared down at the copy of the blood requisition form. In the applicant's signature line, his flamboyant handwriting stared right back at him. "Time of request: 7:45 pm. "Recipient: Lucy Baker." The remarks clearly read, "Temporary blood allocation for maternal delivery use." At that moment, every ounce of color drained from Chad's face.

I realized this was just another prank of his. My strength drained away. The pain was so bad I couldn't even question him. That was Colin, a prank lover. Ever since I confessed my feelings ten years ago, I'd been dragged into his games. The first time, he tested my sincerity, making me search for his lost watch in a snowstorm. Succeeding, I'd earn a chance to pursue him. Unfortunately, I never found it, only ending up hospitalized with frostbite. He visited and flashed the watch on his wrist, saying I passed the test. I unscrewed the cap from the bleach bottle and threw the contents at him, causing him to scream out in pain as bleach covered his face and hair. I grabbed the broom and, finding sudden strength, rammed my foot into the wooden handle, breaking it in half.

I ignored the pains between my legs and proceeded to the bathroom. I shut the door behind me to avoid him walking on me. He might have his way with me here in the bathroom again. I was not ready for that. I might pass out. I grabbed the second toothbrush and made use of it. Turning on the shower, I stood underneath and washed myself. I took a soft sponge and did the necessary scrubbing. I washed myself and stared at my swollen eyes in the mirror. I washed my hair and after a few minutes, I was done.

He remembered the conversation just like yesterday and grinned softly. "Soren, this alpha of the Silver Moon pack, Brenden and his trusty female warrior, Laura." His father introduced the two strangers in front of Blaze, Georgia and his mom. "Hey, my name is Soren and this is my daughter Georgia and my son Blaze." His mother said. They only fought to defend themselves, and their closest allies. Our current Alpha, Alpha Lennox, was strong, though not nearly as strong as Zeron was, just, and kind. He had three sons and one daughter. Jax, Pat, Sal, and Haven. Jax was 17, just like I was, Pat was almost 16, Haven was 12, and Sal was 5.
