Feels like days for it to brighten a little more, but nevertheless. I had found the right direction. Finally. It grows brighter. Wider. The light slowly spreads, like a bloodstain through a white piece of cloth. It lightens the darkness of the water. I see the silhouettes of my pale, pruned hands. The water is a pale blue. I see the light. Then it ceases to exist.

The overhead cabinets were filled with cans of different sizes, bleach , detergent, some tapes. She pushed aside some cans and her eyes widened instantly, as she caught sight of the metal torch light. "Yes!" She squealed silently in delight as she took it out, but her smile dimmed in the next instant when she tried it and it was not working. What the hell? "Please, don't do this to me. I have to get out of here," Lana moaned in a pleading voice, as she tried over and over to make it work. She finally turned the torch over and accessed the bottom.

It was almost as if it was a time line as we walked down the hall. I saw a sword. Many different people held the sword as we walked. Sometimes it was a person outlined in black light, which was strange to see black light. It was not like the UV purple light that they called black light in the clubs. This was inky dark light. Almost like paint, but reflected as light. My physics brain couldn't wrap itself around the concept, and yet here it was right in front of me.
