Her blade clashed against the monster’s claws. Shockwaves blasted outward. The creature tried to grab her, but Lyra slipped past its guard. Her eyes locked onto the glowing core inside its chest. “Got you.” She thrust her blade forward. The monster realized too late. “No—” The blade pierced its core. Light exploded from the wound. The creature screamed. Its body began cracking apart like glass under pressure. “You… foolish… human…” Lyra pulled her blade free. “I get that a lot.” The monster shattered completely. Dark fragments scattered across the battlefield before dissolving into nothing.

Shing! (Sounds of sword slashed.) -1 (Health points deducted.) Ack! (Monster cries in pain.) Tsk! This wooden sword really did little damage. Currently, the monster health points were 99/100. My attack could only deal 1 damage to it. I did all I can just to kill this monster named Pale Toad, but my damage ain't high enough. This monster is level 1 only. But, for a reason of me being so weak, it's so difficult to kill it, yet my peers could easily eliminate these monsters.

The young man's eyes had widened at the sight of the grinning giant with the split face. "I-I don't know what you talking about…" He had stammered, eyes not able to leave the sight of the monster before him. We tightened our grip on our weapons, ready to defend ourselves against this unexpected threat. The blind monsters closed in, their eerie cries echoing in the night, and we knew that our survival depended on our ability to fight as a team. Nova, her eyes gleaming with determination, took the lead. With a swift, calculated movement, she lunged at the nearest blind monster, her sword slashing through the air. The blade struck true, and the creature let out a guttural screech as it fell to the ground, lifeless.

They had such an excellent bond based on their likes and dislikes. The real Monster had not yet finished, but had just started. She would awaken Luther's true monster. She would destroy him and his family. She would make Noelle's life an absolute hell. This is the second part of Monster. *********

That was my cue to finally leave, so I reached the edge and saw Bloom levitating above the ground, her red hair raised and her eyes white as her hands sent power through the dome. “What's going on?” I asked Gabrielle right away. “They're monsters, but not ordinary monsters; they're lethal,” my Beta said with genuine concern. “Whatever Greco did this time, it seems to be working.” Bloom shouted before sending a stronger burst of energy. Then I saw the dome become transparent, and I could finally see hundreds of monsters falling. They all had blood coming from their ears and noses. It was clear that Bloom had fried their brains to the point of quickly destroying them.

It crashed into a huge tree. The Blood Monster was just a puppet and was not a living being. Once the Blood Demon Bead was destroyed, the Blood Monster puppet would vanish as well. "You're dead!" The Blood Monster got up once more. Its body flickered with a bloody glow and its aura became even more savage. Its speed even heightened severalfold. Chase showed no fear. He continued waving his metal sword to cut down the Blood Monster. The Blood Monster howled at the sky. Its body suddenly exploded and it turned into a ball of sticky liquid that quickly spread everywhere.
