Blood on the Asphalt biker

Blood on the Asphalt biker

Flanking them were hundreds of sleek, dart-like escort fighters and drop-ships. They didn't broadcast a surrender demand. They didn't ask for parley. The three Dreadnoughts simultaneously fired their main batteries. Three beams of concentrated, superheated golden plasma, each as wide as a skyscraper, lanced across the sky and slammed into Coldwater’s Phase-Shield.

THE ARCHIVISTS PAWN: REBIRTH OF THE BURIED QUEEN

THE ARCHIVISTS PAWN: REBIRTH OF THE BURIED QUEEN

The scene projected wasn't a memory; it was happening now. The black ships we had seen on the horizon had reached the shore. They weren't empty. They were packed with Shadows, not the ink-monsters from the woods, but people. Thousands of them. They were pale, translucent versions of everyone the Shop had ever 'audited' or deleted. The ships were docking at the base of the North-Point Lighthouse. "They aren't coming to fight," I realized, watching the wall. "They're coming to Checkout."

The Rejected Luna’s Secret Crown

The Rejected Luna’s Secret Crown

the corporal shouted. I watched as our three stolen ships, the Sun’s Fury, the Dawn Treader, and the Gilded Hawk, broke formation. They weren't running. They were diving into the swarm of Northern destroyers like wolves attacking a herd of bison. "They're outnumbered ten to one," I whispered, sweat stinging my eyes. "They can't win a dogfight." "They aren't trying to win," Ashren's voice echoed in my memory. "They’re buying time." "Ground assault!" Jace, the lieutenant in charge of beach defense, cut into the comms. "They’re launching drop pods! They’re coming through the shield!"

Shadow's Essence

Shadow's Essence

Chapter 50: The Shadow Lord's Departure The harbor stretched before him like a promise of violence made manifest, its waters black as midnight beneath the pre-dawn sky. Forty-seven warships rode at anchor in formations that spoke of military precision and unlimited resources, their hulls gleaming with magical reinforcements that could deflect cannon fire and turn aside the most sophisticated naval magic. Each vessel flew the silver shadow of House Nox, but these weren't the modest coastal patrol ships his ancestors had maintained. These were instruments of conquest, designed to carry war across oceans and challenge powers that had never faced serious external threats.

The Forbidden Claim: Three Alphas, One Luna

The Forbidden Claim: Three Alphas, One Luna

The instant we crested the jagged eastern cliffs, staring down over the Black Sea, the nightmare spread below us and stole the breath, straight out my lungs. The scout hadn’t overplayed it. The ocean had turned pitch black, choked by an unnatural creeping fog that smelled like rusted iron, and copper, like someone tried to drown metal. Cutting through that darkness was an impossible armada, all wrong, all silent. There were dozens of massive dreadnought-class ships, made from seamless matte-black iron. No sails, no engines, no wake at all. They just glided, eerie as a held breath, moved by dark magic. And yeah, midday sun was beating down hard… still those ships cast absolutely no shadows.

Blackened: The Bastard Heiress's Rise

Blackened: The Bastard Heiress's Rise

"I hope you like the wrapping." She slammed her thumb down. The missiles streaked from the bay in a synchronized arc, leaving trails of white smoke against the grey sky. They weren't designed to sink ships; they were designed to blind gods. They slammed into the radar arrays and communication masts of the destroyer and the submarine simultaneously. The explosions weren't fiery; they were bursts of high-frequency blue light that blossomed over the sea like a garden of neon roses.

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

“They are coming to the shore!” I looked down at the narrow strip of beach at the base of the cliffs. Small, sleek boats were dropping from the sides of the larger ships, propelled by jets of steam and solar fire. Each boat carried a dozen soldiers clad in white-and-gold armor, their frequency staves glowing with a lethal, humming energy. “They want to fight on the ground,” I said, a dark, human joy rising in my chest. “They think they have the advantage in a melee.”

Billionaire's Accidental Wife

Billionaire's Accidental Wife

he said with an implying tone. Ben brought the teacups and gave them each as he and Eddie both shook their heads, clueless about what Shawn was talking about. “Really? I’m surprised you didn’t know about this one, Ben.” Shawn cast Ben a chastising glance. “Anyway, there are two fascinating things about this discovery. One, the place where the ships were found is in the middle of the Baltic sea. Then later finds out at the Baltic town of Leba’s seasides. At first, no one understood why ancient ships would be there.”

I'm almost done with book 1 and all I can say is you need to read this, what u see in the first few chapters were just snacks, the real thing is when Catherine and Shawn's adventures started to look for his grandfather's treasures. It was like full of twist and your learn alot from this.

The Alpha's Plump Mistake

The Alpha's Plump Mistake

I answered, digging my fingers into his broad shoulders and pulling his mouth to mine with a hungry kiss that filled us both with certainty of victory. Our moment of peace lasted only a heartbeat. A deafening metallic roar shook the cavern’s foundations. It did not come from the palace or the pass—it came from the ocean horizon visible through the great coastal rift. The deep, guttural blast of an ancient war horn tore through the northern night. I looked up toward the cavern’s opening, my mark blazing brighter as I saw the shapes of ten massive black‑steel ships emerge from the sea fog, driven by violet fire that dwarfed the Council’s magic.

The Dragon Lord's Seastead

The Dragon Lord's Seastead

It raised its forelimb and aimed at the Cult's largest flagship. Boom. Steel twisted. Wood exploded. The warship split in two from the center and slowly sank. The believers screamed as they fell into the sea, where the venom-sting jellyfish wrapped them in tentacles. Their voices soon died away. "Retreat! Retreat!" the priest shrieked hysterically. The remaining two warships desperately turned around, their oars beating wildly against the surface. But it was too late.
