Layla was placed between the mayor’s wife and a successful real estate broker. She was washing the dishes from breakfast. A noise in the backyard made her look up and out the window over the sink. It was the pool man, who was thirty minutes early. He was coming to clean the pool. She waved at him. He waved back and continued his journey to the small pool. Layla turned on the faucet to rinse a glass. When she looked down and saw the large drops of blood on her hands, she shrieked and dropped the glass into the soapy water. Blake used an illusion array and hid his aura; even if they stood beside him, they would never notice him. Blake’s Aunt, Clarice Elon, walked into the hall as the maid beside her held a basion of water and a rag on her arm. Blake observed them cautiously and witnessed Clarice place a few drops of a liquid into the water before allowing the maid to enter the bedroom that housed Blake’s Grandfather. I have made it worse. “I’m bleeding from my eyes! This isn’t normal!” I cry. Then I collapse to the floor and black out. BANG, BANG! “Killian, can you open the door!” a voice shouts from outside the door. I wake up to the voice shouting from outside the door. I climb to my feet and look in the mirror. I look like a horror show.

His breath stank of cigarettes. "Let me go!" I gagged, struggling hard. The next second, the guy flew two feet back, passing out with a grunt. A familiar, cool scent hit me as someone helped me up. I looked up to see a handsome face, and tears poured out. "You left the party early," he said, his voice deep and soothing. "I got worried and checked the surveillance. I'm sorry I'm late."

When she walked in to the loving area, the first thing her mind registered was the pungent scent of rusted metal—no—blood. There he was in the middle of it. He was unbuttoning his stained dress shirt with a cold but calm demeanor. His expression was blank and he looked like a demon ascended straight from hell.
