There are days when I wonder what the world around me looks like, what the prey I eat looks like, I even wonder what my mate looks like but I'll never ask because I know that although I am blind and most likely odd looking I will never stand alone. For I am blinded but not deaf, I am blinded but not alone, I am blinded and I will always have a place within this world.

She'd rather be back in California in her small room, laying in bed and daydreaming about how her life would've been if she haven't had this stupid disease that left her in darkness forever. Bonnie missed her mother, hell she even misses her bastard of a father that left when she was three. She missed her dog, Egg. Oh I hope he's okay. She also missed her annoying best friend Becca. Her heart clenched as tears begin to run down her face. She sniffed taking a deep breath and wiped the tears but it was no use because more came running down. She gave up and let them fall. How was she going to escape this place if she was blind?

Blake's POV The night enveloped me in its chilly embrace, casting an eerie silence over the surroundings. Above, the sky displayed a haunting hue of red, as though symbolizing the spilled blood that tainted the world. I found myself seated at my office table, where an overwhelming sense of emptiness permeated my being since Chloe's departure. Deep inside, I felt lifeless, my body moving mechanically to fulfill its duties while my soul remained lost, and my heart hollow.

What a tragedy! Blake looks at the retreating figure and weakly leans against the wall. His heart clenches in pain as he has lost hope once again. The man he loves...his Mark, might never open his eyes ever again. Blake feels like his heart is being torn open in pain at the very thought of it.

Bleak sized my face up and down as he said, "Miss Defiant, your adjusted face today seems to be prettier than before. It reminds me of someone." "What are you going to do?" I wasn't in any mood to chat with Bleak. He is horrible. There surely won't be any good thing since he showed up here. Seeing that I was so vigilant, Bleak said with a sad look on his face, "Miss Defiant, I've been so good to you yet you are guarding against me like this. This makes me sad." Bleak was wearing a suit and his slightly long hair had been tied up. He slowly walked to the sofa and sat down.

Adeline's POV Cold crept deep in my bones, wrapping me with an evil bear hug. I was weak, with trembling hands huddled next to the doorstep. My parched and dry lips, sore throat from non-stop coughing, and the metallic and raw flavor of blood hanging on my tongue. Blake said that I will be out here for three days, is this how he really wants me to die? Does Blake even love me a little? He always seems careless about me and cares so much for Rebecca.

I set my plate on the counter next to me before I focused my attention closer to the screen trying to hear every detail. "The death of the two was a very brutal and fatal murder and America's hearts and prayers go out to the families who lost an amazing member." The blonde spoke before I clicked off the t.v "Mom this has to be Justin or Dylan, one of them. If not, both" I said as I paced back and forth. "We're not absolutely positive." She defended.

*Tatum* Everything feels bleak and dark, no escape, no way out of this mess that will forever have us living in agonizing pain. Be it physically or emotionally. All hope for something better, something more was obliterated the moment he said those three words. Because the moment it was out there, I knew there was no one else I could ever love.

The pain is unbearable but I continue to tighten my fists and when I lift them up, blood is oozing out of the deep crescents formed by my nails. This year there's nothing I've been wanting more than to die everytime something bad happened and death itself has been close by. Too close. Honestly I swear, Blake is like a pill. But instead of making me better, he keeps makes me ill. I guess the universe gave me a wrong prescription then.

The mighty Helios decided to depart from our midst. Blake is the only one left with me. I'm unsure of his current intentions. My heart raced as I spoke, uncertainty gripping me tightly. "The future is a mystery," I whispered, my voice barely above a breath. Through gritted teeth, I seethed at Blake, "You have single-handedly destroyed my entire existence."
