Third Person's POV Matthew screams when he sees the man begin to pull his arm back, knowing he's about to tear her heart out. Suddenly, there's a blinding white light. Lucian's hand is wrapped around the man's throat. He reaches back, covering Izzy's eyes as he pushes his light out and screams. Matthew watches from afar as the brightest white light flashes, causing him to stop and cover his face. When he looks back, the only thing he can see where the man was a moment ago is ashes floating to the ground.

Maddison P.O.V. Everything is blurry. My eyes don’t want to adjust to the dim light, but my ears work perfectly fine, and I can hear someone speaking nearby. They are discussing something. Someone. Me? I try to think back. Where am I? The last thing I remember was Liam wanting to show me something. He was about to remove the blindfold. I reach up to my eyes, but the fold is gone.
