Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop. I couldn’t help but wonder who she was and why Blade had decided to bring her along. They both shared words before walking towards the coffee shop. “Emily!” Blade called as he walked inside with his companion right behind him. “I’m right here,” I said waving my hands in the air to draw his attention.

The big drow yanked on the chain and swung it to the side, sending the blade towards Otheric. The young drow ducked and the blade merely shattered the chimney he was hugging. Without much effort, Nymgos spun the blade around again, keeping Minos and Rei at a length's distance. Anybody who dared to move, Nymgos would toss the blade against them, and pull it away, and spin it up again.

He retrieved the Dragon Slaying Saber from the System Space and suddenly, a roar of a dragon was heard, followed by the slashing sounds of the saber. Before they could study it, Lucas hoisted the Dragon Slaying Saber high in the air. "Blazing Saber Technique!" Before Lucas was done saying it, he already launched his attack. In a split second, many blazing shots were fired to the 30 over Rank 5 Undead Skeletal Heavy Swordsmen.

“You’re going to get yourself killed!” Upon saying that, he was planning on starting his attack on Zayn. Two sharp blades appeared in his hands almost instantaneously. Moreover, these blades were serrated so a gentle slice would be enough to cut through the skin. They were extremely evil, ferocious weapons. However, he was stopped by Nimbus just as he was about to make a move. Nimbus said softly, “Don’t act rashly. Let the underlings test his capabilities.” Simoon said, “Nimbus is right. We should tire him out first.”

Damon POV The first blade came from the left. I deflected it, slammed my shoulder into the attacker, and drove my knife up under his ribs. He dropped without a sound. More came—sprinting through the trees, shouting Axel’s name like it was a war cry. I met them head-on. Steel met flesh. Blood soaked into the dirt. I moved on instinct. Dodge, strike, kill. My breath was ragged, my arms heavy, but I didn’t stop. Couldn’t. I carved a path forward through the chaos, eyes scanning the battlefield, listening for anything—anyone—that could tell me where Kalilah was.

It was just him and me now, bound by the code. I straightened, my eyes locked on his. He didn’t speak, didn’t even move, but I could feel the intensity of his gaze through the shadow of his hood.
