“Do you think I won’t touch you just because the armed police are passing by? They’re in the choppers. They can’t see you from there! Get him! Cut his tongue off first, then break his arms and legs!”
The gang of thugs around him immediately rushed forward.
One of them, wielding a machete, lunged straight for my stomach.
I drew a deep breath of cold air, focused, and unleashed a powerful roundhouse kick that knocked the weapon into the air. I dashed forward and caught the falling weapon, brandishing it in a tight arc like a sword in a defensive stance. My eyes were sharp, locking onto them.
Someone gasped, “Holy crap! This guy knows martial arts?!”
