Ascend or Be Consumed

Ascend or Be Consumed

I had lost my appetite when I couldn't reach for water on the table, and I knew many more things could get me frustrated. Without my sight, I felt threatened. And I couldn't help but expect the worst. I would shatter if I had to spend another night blind. But I knew I would rather wait, cultivate, and rebuild myself piece by piece then beg Veylor to release Eryx. I have endured the Void, pushed through intense training, and faced echoes of bullying and hardship. Despite everything, I persevered. Blindness was just another war. And when I regained my sight, the world would never again have the luxury of looking away from me.

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Journal (Book 4)

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Journal (Book 4)

The front door flew open before either Nora or I had an opportunity to knock on it. A petite, slight blonde with captivating, rich blue-green eyes that watered just enough to remind me of the ocean greeted us with nervous warmth. It wasn’t until she’d invited us into her home that I realized that her vision was impaired. She informed us that she could see shapes and colors, but not much in the line of details. This made her legally blind. It was because of this affliction that she was unable to determine exactly what was happening in her home and why she needed our help.

|4 Months Later| The snores from Alana filled the room. Eva sat up in her bed. The pads of her fingers glided across the page of the book. One upside to being blind and reading a book? She didn't need light to read. Eva could read in the dark until her heart's content, Aside from Alana's slight snores and the thumping hearts from everyone inside the PackHouse. The night was quite serene.

Married at First Sight

Married at First Sight

She said, “Aunt Evelyn brought me to various doctors and places to search for a cure after I went blind. I’ve gone to many ophthalmologists and received countless treatments. Most of them were ineffective. However, I did meet a famous doctor once. I found his treatment effective. “Unfortunately, that doctor passed away before my eyes healed fully. Since then, there has not been much progress, and I’ve given up on regaining my sight. I’ve been blind and living in darkness for ten years. I’m already used to it.” Camryn held no more hope. Even if Evelyn had found a new doctor for her, she did not want to meet any more doctors. She found it pointless in seeing a doctor as the outcome would be th

Thus far the book ... was compelling but disappointed that there is no ending to the novel. I planned on reading another book after this but with this experience why would I since there might not be and ending to that one as well! Bummer! Please do better so you don’t loose customers in the future.

His blind wolf

His blind wolf

V Old Nana said we are going in the next two hours, I was lying down on my and Liza's bed, and the thought of his Majesty being blind hasn't left my mind, since I eavesdropped on his discussion with the physician. How come his wolf is blind? Was he cursed by the moon goddess? Was that the reason why he always acts cruelly? I guess the moon goddess decided to favor me, I am gonna frustrate his life now that I know that his wolf is blind, he will regret taking me in as his personal slave. "Hey what are you thinking about?" Liza asked and I fake a frown. "What did you mean? Did I look like I am thinking about something?" I asked and she clear her throat....

She sobs softly. Charles was utterly shock and felt even guiltier of what America will go through after her surgery and he feels much worse, “Y-You mean… she will go blind?” Doctor Davis nods, “I’m afraid so.” “Is…” Charles’ voice softens as he tries his best to be strong for her and America’s mom who is almost about to faint. “Is there any other way to fix her eyesight?” “I don’t think there will be a cure for permanent blindness. Her optic nerve is highly affected form the concussion. I’m very sorry.” Doctor Davis sounded sad.

Spots filled my vision before I couldn’t see anything, going completely blind. “Dad!” “Desmond!” I felt hands on my back but I closed my eyes, just trying to catch my breath. The fire raged as I felt it burn my skin. “The marks…” My eyes flung open as I tried to lean away from the pain of being stabbed in the back. “Fuck!” “Dad? Dad, what’s going on?” “Nat, hold on. Let it pass.” Scott trying to help Nat. Shaking my head, I tried to blink but I still was completely blind. My back hurt like hell and fire still burned. It felt like minutes but the pain finally eased. The fire dulled to a simmer. My vision still didn’t come back.

Love the story It isn’t an all sunshines and daisies book It’s much more real The characters feel real with emotions all over the place and conflict that is more realistic I recommend it and I will finish it and read more from the author however I think the book is going to cost almost $50

Such an incredible story! To write with such intricacy with each of characters and then throw in such powerful and complex relationships, the story definitely took a life of its own. Be prepared for tissues, being angry and yelling at some of the characters and even laughing.

My Blind Mate

My Blind Mate

Rebecca held out the glass of water, but there was no response from the woman in front of her. "This is the glass, the right side of that arm of yours!" Rebecca said telling the position of the glass, "What's wrong with your eyesight, did they ruin it just like yours?" "Sicily, my name is Sicily. I've been blind since I was 10 years old. Back then my mum omega 2 fought to defend me from Luna's attack. I gave up for the safety of my mum and dad," Sicily explained unprompted. "Hem, then what happened after that?" asked Rebecca.

The Blind Revenge

The Blind Revenge

"Ms. Todd, are you looking to sell your place? I noticed you wrote that you want it sold in three days? That's so soon." "It's urgent. Please get it done as soon as possible," I said with determination. I had only regained my eyesight for a day, but my emotions were in a mess. I took a taxi home and quickly prepared all the documents I needed to bring to the research team. When I was blind, I thought about how I would not regret anything at all, giving everything up for Sean. At that moment, I found it highly absurd that I would ever think that way.

Beyond Her Imagination

Beyond Her Imagination

"You may have noticed his confusion and disorientation. We believe he’s experiencing psychological shock, and there's an additional, more unusual issue—psychological blindness, or hysterical blindness." "Blindness? Does that mean he can’t see at all?" Camilla asked, her brow furrowing. Dr. Dupont nodded. "Yes, he reports that he can’t see. However, there is no physical damage to his eyes or optic nerves. All our tests indicate that his vision should be intact. This blindness is psychological; his mind is reacting to the trauma of the accident. It happens when the brain shuts down certain functions as a protective response to emotional shock." Brendan looked alarmed. "Is this permanent? Will
