Unknowingly my hand rubbed the head of the statue that had been destroyed in half. An unexpected event happened. Suddenly the owl's eyes emitted light blue color. A small vortex of wind was created around the altar and then enveloped the statue in a short time. Slowly but surely, the stone statue reconstructed itself, starting from the wings, body, and head. They looked so real and alive that I had a difficult time getting too close. I personally liked the bird's section most, so the owls. I have always loved owls ever since I was a kid. They just fascinated me. I like how strong and intelligent they are. I remember reading fun facts about them in high school. How they have three eyelids and can rotate their heads 360 degrees. I would really love to see that in action.

Just as abruptly as the hail had started, it stopped. The driver peered out, trying to see as he parked the bus, hoping he was safely off the road. Lightning arced from cloud to cloud, and thunder crashed again. Staring out the windshield, he found himself ducking as a huge owl flew straight out of the driving sheets of rain.

She didn’t meet my eyes as she left the room. I sat in silence for a while, the weight of her reaction was heavier than anything she could’ve said. Syllabus Arkane would not just let such an insult go. I was contemplating this when I heard the wolves start to howl. It was getting late. I stood and cautiously peeked out the window. The woods were alive with the sounds of night creatures. Crickets, cicadas, even the odd hoot of an owl. This eased my mind a bit, if anything untoward was happening the woods would tell me. So I went back to waiting. Soon I heard the scrape, knock, knock, indicating Clayton had arrived. I let him in.
