Horan stood up after stabilizing his breath. "Nothing form them, but..." Raon stepped closer to Horan and showed him an orb that was covered in a thick hempen cloth. It's colors were black and white and it emitted a familiar aura. "What is this?..." Horan took a closer look. They both inspected the orb for awhile and decided to bring it back with them to report to Izfar. Then, they continued investigating the area.

“Let me review the details for you.” A picture of an old man appeared. “Garrett Norman is a chemist and has a factory called ‘oracle’, founded a new and rare metal called ‘oryx’ and crafted a weapon called the orb. Orb works like a nuclear bomb but is more compact, in the form of a diamond.” He paused. “It is powerful enough to kill an entire nation with a single strike. The government and every other illegal organization are after Garrett. We need to get it before anyone else.”

Inside, a glowing orb floated above a marble pedestal, bathing the room in soft golden light. "It’s beautiful," I whispered. "It’s dangerous," he replied. He stepped closer, and the orb pulsed as if it recognized him. "What does it do?" "It’s the source of Betmor’s bloodline strength. It’s ancient and alive. It shows visions—memories, warnings." I watched as he reached out, but the moment his fingers neared it, the orb flared. A force pushed us both back against the wall. We hit the ground hard, breath knocked out of us. I groaned, but Ugarh sat up quickly, his face pale.

I was a bystander in all of this, but I couldn't help but feel I just as much at stake as the rest of these Fae. The six orbs melted into one, and I found myself drawn to the cacophony of color within the glassy surface. Splotches of black, red, green, blue, white--every color, even colors I had never seen before appeared in the large orb. With a great gust, the orb lifted into the sky. I tracked it with my eyes for as long as I could, watching until the harsh sunlight forced my retreat. I blinked back the large splotches in my eyes and cursed myself for looking so long. The harsh sunlight left me feeling dazzled and blind. As the spots behind my eyes slowly vanished, I found myself somewher

Pernwél followed my lead and searched around the roots with me. We did find something. Pernwél was holding a little sphere in her hands. It looked like misty glass but the white and grey smoke-like substance inside moved slightly. It wasn’t something I had ever seen before. “A memory orb.” Pernwél said with a very faint voice.

Richmond had made a really good choice and he was going to make a valuable addition to the team as well. The ephemera was a small ball of glowing orb which changed colour depending on the kind of memory it contained. This was green, a pale green colour and Elexis flicked it on his hand as Aithusa could see a young man in the orb. He was speaking clearly looking at something, most probably the moon.

Liam took a second to look into it’s eyes, determined to see who was attacking him. When all he saw were red irises, he felt his blood go cold. “No,” he croaked.

and I´d gladly sacrifice myself for it. I would have thought this was just some prop from a movie if it weren't for that weird blue light emanating from the inside of the vehicle. It's not something that can be created by special effects or any of that sort. It looked like something from out of this world—divine even. Is that really a spaceship? It can't be! Could it be? She crawled forward, faster now, until the vent opened into the adjoining room. Her breath hitched. There, at the centre, was Orion, chained to a metal chair. His arms were bound tightly against the armrest, silver gleaming under the bright white lights. The scent of blood and something acrid filled the air as she peered in through the gaps. His skin was slick with sweat, veins darkening where the toxins from the silver burnt and seeped in. Her father stood a few feet away, watching with cold detachment as if Orion were nothing but an experiment.
