But she understood. I leaned forward, both palms on the table. “We hit him before he hits us. We pull the ground out from under his feet. By the time Jaxson realizes he’s lost control of the game, it’ll be too late. And this time, there’s no creature. No witch. Just wolves. And wolves know how to die.” The silence that followed wasn’t hesitation, it was resolved. Camerin, Micah, Kate they were all staring at me with the same fire burning in their eyes. War was coming. And it would be ours.

Blake and that vampire were planning something again. Something nefarious. I could feel it in my blood. "Get Rika!" I could barely hear Axel shouting orders. But I was already falling into darkness. The war wasn't just coming. It was already here.

Forming new image. Bat-winged sigil. Massive. Burning across the entire horizon. Impossible to miss. Impossible to ignore. The vampires aren't just claiming blood-right. They're declaring war. And they want everyone to know it. In the distance, a bat-winged sigil burns upon the horizon.

I followed behind knowing very well the enemies were just a step away and probably our death as well. "Well, well well welcome to your fate of doom love birds. Today we witness the death of Kyson and his lover!" I felt weak hearing him freely announcing the death of my woman. No man this time you've got it wrong. I stepped forward and Cade did the same. I could feel myself surging with power. Merging all my elements. Fire, wind, ice, lightning all coming out. My nails adjusted to a centimetre and my eyes became red and my voice sounding in form of a roar. My fangs were exposed, itching to bite in some flesh. I felt energy and my control was slowly fading. I moved with great speed and lunged

“Well, he hasn’t seen your companion. If I see him, I’ll send him to you.” The vampire glanced at me, his expression cold and knowing, then bowed again. “Yes, sire.” He stepped back, turned, and walked away. The moment he disappeared around the corner, Perth’s hand shot out. He grabbed me by the collar and shoved me back into the room. The door slammed shut behind him. Before I could regain my balance, his fingers hooked under my chin, jerking my head up so I had no choice but to look at him. “I told you to sit here and behave,” he said softly. Soft, but dangerous. “Why did I come back to find you meddling in other people’s business?”

"The Harrison Pack!" Mr Glamora mumbled within himself after hearing Cornor's Explanations "Interesting, And what makes you so sure Glamora?" Hambora taunted with a smug "It's Harrison Pack Hambora, during the Fatal War, not Everyone died Remember and besides, It's only the Harrison Pack that will have a Mixture of Supernatural breeds within a Single Pack!" Glamora Replied and Hambora nodded, he knew better than not to get on Glamora's tail whenever the Harrison Pack were mentioned, his Wife had been killed during the Fatal War and ever since then, his grudge for the Harrison Pack had only deepened.

My mate sneers at the werebear. “Royal Beta,” Alpha Brett stands to address my mate and the rest of us. “After what I saw occur, we can’t go to war with this witch. Those creatures annihilated my pack. Killed over twenty of my warriors and at least a dozen of yours. We don’t stand a chance. We can't take them on again.”

“Don't keep me in suspense. What do you really want to say?” Meazus took a deep breath and began speaking. “I was asked to join the war as backup for the Pandora Pack. I have to be on the front lines because I promised them.” Deanna fell silent for a few seconds. “War? With which pack?” “The Swordblack Pack.” “What if I don't allow it?” Deanna said this because the pack mentioned by Meazus had a large number of wolfbane, which could cause several werewolves to die quickly. Deanna didn't want that to happen to Meazus.

BLAKE “We’ve got our warriors stalking the perimeter of the Bois Sombre Pack. But their territory is too big to cover every part of it.” Beta Alfred walked into the bridal suite where I was now congregated with Luke, Jack, Kyle, Alex, Talia, and Tyce.

I sat in the study of our castle, the yellowed parchment clutched in my hand, a bitter smile on my lips. The ancient vampiric script glowed a deep crimson in the candlelight: "Should Augustine Slinter betray this pact, he shall suffer the pain of a thousand blades through the heart, and his family’s power, fortune, and title will pass in their entirety to Haley Nightshade." In the bottom right corner was a single, blood-red thumbprint. Augustine’s.
