The sphygmomanometer beeped, indicating it was done checking Mr Chevalier’s blood pressure.
It read, 156/109 which made me purse my lips in disappointment, he hasn’t been taking his anti-hypertensive medication.
“Sir, why haven’t you been taken your medication?” I ask with worry.
He scoffed and looks down at the reading. “Those are just numbers, I feel fine.”
Sighing, I unstrapped the cuff from his arm. “Sir, you may feel fine now, but hypertension is a silent killer.”
