Curse of the Alpha demon
I had been trying so hard to keep everyone safe, but it seemed like trouble kept finding us.
“Show me the bodies,” I said, standing up from my desk.
Jaxon led me to where the bodies were being kept. When I saw them, I could immediately tell this wasn’t the work of a regular animal or even a normal Bloodburn. The wounds were strange, almost like they had been made by claws but not quite.
“I think it might be wild animals,” Jaxon said, studying the marks on the victims. “Maybe wolves from another territory.”
I shook my head. I knew better than that. These wounds had a different smell to them, a different energy. This was definitely the work of a Bloodborne, but not like any I had fought before
