Looks like an old romance movie. SHE HEAVED a deep sigh when she reached the condominium where Mr. Montemayor is staying. She discovered that this place is owned by his new patient. Wow, he's that rich! 30th floor. When she entered the said floor, she was welcomed by a woman, maybe five or seven years older than her. She must be Ms. Ashley, Mr. Havoc Montemayor's secretary.

It is because I can feel it, and it is real. The sounds of metal clashing against each other and flesh tearing alongside the yells of the vampires fighting against each other woke Amber from her thoughts as Jade neared the grounds of Polis. Each second she hears them, it cuts her deep inside and she would always have a feeling that her ‘people’ are dying. But just like always, there was nothing she could do. As soon as Jade set her on the ground, away from the battle scene, Bathilda and Samantha came running to them and Samantha announced immediately, “It is the Lifebloods.”

I grabbed the hem of Felix's shirt, fixed a pitiful expression on my face, and mumbled, "I believe you, Felix." Felix's expression softened as he helped me back to my feet. Taking advantage of the fact that the other wolves' attention was still on us, I retrieved a document from my bag and handed it to Felix. "I accidentally recorded your pup's blood type as AB when I registered his information last time. The truth is, his blood type is O." Felix's face twisted as he snatched the document from me. An eerie silence descended upon the hall. Everyone knew that all the wolves of the Blackrock pack had type-AB blood, making it impossible for a pup with type-O blood to exist in the pack.

A life without my brothers in it was a fucking nightmare. I rushed back to the Main mansion and saw my step mother smiling at the phone, I bet she was making a call but I didn't care at the moment. Reaching the last stage of the shift during the blood moon means death, the last time it happened to me…my father has to do something he never meant to do, killing a new born baby so I could feed on it's blood to survive. I almost gagged at myself when I heard it but fuck this curse, I'll do anything.

"That mark belongs to me." She stepped back, blade raised again. "You're lying." He took a slow step forward, his eyes glowing brighter. "I wish I were." Before she could react, the sky darkened. Dozens of crows rose from the trees at once, shrieking and circling above them. The air grew heavy, the ground trembling under her boots. Kael looked up at the sky. "The Bloodbound has awakened." Seraphina didn't understand what he meant-she only knew one thing.

He shuffled off through a side door, leaving me alone with the smell of paper and a guard who looked too bored to stare at me for long. I drifted between the shelves, not quite wandering, not quite obeying. Most of the volumes were labeled in terse, faded script: BIRTHS. DEATHS. BONDINGS. DEBTS. ADOPTIONS. My skin prickled. This place held the stories of everyone who mattered to Bloodthorn. Who’d been born here, who’d died, who owed what. And somewhere, filed away like a receipt no one cared about, was the official lie they’d told about me.

Chapter 1: Blood Debt The warehouse smelled like rust and death. Luca Rossi stood over the body, chest rising slow and steady, the only sound in the sudden silence. Marco Vitale’s eyes stared up at the cracked ceiling, vacant now, blood pooling dark and thick beneath his head. One clean shot—center mass—then two more to be sure. Message delivered. Luca wiped his hands on a rag one of his men handed him, though the blood had already dried under his nails. He didn’t flinch. He never did.

My hands were cold, and I stared at the screen again. “It is not his empire,” I said. "This is his bloodline." Footsteps resounded outside the room. The door opened. Dino stood with an unreadable expression. "You found something," he said. I swung around and looked at him a-throbbing. "Yes," I replied. His eyes sharpened. "What did you find, Drina?" I turned back and looked at the screen, and then at the man whose name had plagued all corners of my life. "A ghost," I said. "And it belongs to your family."

“They did but they never realised you have a natural link with aspen and Baylee, you don’t need to blood share for that, it’s how I’m talking to you, it’s through aspen” He goes quiet so I try again “We are going to attack the warehouse but they have the place locked down with supernatural borders, salt circles, sonic pulses, mountain ash, we can’t get through that but you can! You can carry Baylee through it and meet us on the outside but you are going to have to kill those inside first” “See your not real! I can’t get through any of that either” I groan, the boy was as stubborn as a mule

He’s planning something, I’m sure of it. Her words are not even sinking in, that something horrifying catches my attention. A heavy smell of death lingers in the air, I hear shouting of despair. ‘A newborn vampire.’ Pandora announced. ‘And it’s out of control, slaughtering everybody.’ Panic and adrenaline are surging through my body, I run to the place where the crying for help is heard, and when I get there, I’m faced with a desolate scene. About twenty people, wounded in cold-blood, are lying in a pool of their own blood.
