My hand shook as I zoomed in on the photo. Rosemary was lying in a heap of trash and I could see her face now. There was blood all over her nose, mouth, and chin. Even her dress was soaked with blood. Her eyes were swollen shut and I saw bruises all over her arms and legs. Seeing her in such a state, my heart was torn into shreds. My blood boiled in my veins and I heard the throbbing of my temples loud and clear.

Pools of crimson spread outward, staining the grass a deep, violent red. My stomach lurches as I spot disembodied hearts ripped from chests and discarded like refuse. The metallic stench of death clogs my nostrils, dredging up memories of the brutal attack on the Silver wolf pack years ago. But this...this is so much worse. She snorted and suddenly shoved me forward, straight toward George. With an icy laugh, she said, "This pretty boy will make a great offering. You're going to love him." Before I could react, George gestured, and several eerie puppets stepped forward to pin me down and drain my blood. A sharp bell rang out, echoing through the night.

But to her decimal display she found the red finger marks holding her to a frightening shock. As she looked through the mirror a devilish laughter of a woman with canines out, completely black with hairs waving on all sides appeared. The rocking chair which was stationary earlier started moving now. Amara was almost into a panic attack. It wasn't her hallucination. She indeed experienced his torture and the woman in the mirror....she at once disappears.

“I might not see what you expect, so don’t be disappointed.” Lifting my hand to his stubbled cheek, I inhale and touch his face. Images overlap in my head, three different women all smiling, then looking at me with distorted faces. Three women, three blonde women with their heads severed and hearts ripped out, and a man in a hood was laughing and licking the blood from his fingers. “Ma-ri-na”, he whispers in a sing-song voice, over and over. “You can’t hide from your mate forever….” I see a faceless blonde woman standing up and running towards me with her extended claws.

Screams tore through the B2 level. Martha and I bolted for the stairs. Marcus stumbled behind. The smell of blood hit us like a wall. In the makeshift chapel, Sister Catherine was on her knees before the cross. A bloody hole gaped in her neck. A zombie was hunched over her, greedily tearing at her flesh. It had crawled in through an air vent. “Oh God…” Marcus retched. I grabbed a nearby iron chalice and slammed it into the zombie’s head.

Or what appeared to be the remnants of Mary. The figure on the ground bore no resemblance to Mary. Her once fair skin was now blackened with several cuts. Dark blood oozed from the open wounds, her hair was singed, and a portion of her head was bald. Her mouth was open, revealing a few missing teeth, one eye absent, and her body contorted with legs and hands at awkward angles. Swallowing hard, I struggled to avert my gaze from the horrific scene, but everywhere I looked, I saw Mary's smiling face.
