Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse

Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse

That debt had to be settled properly. Three days later, on a stormy night with pouring rain, a battered armored vehicle—barely holding together—smashed through the gates of the villa complex. Callie and Dan crawled out of the car, covered in mud and looking utterly miserable. Behind them, more than a dozen mutated zombies were chasing them. “Help! Is anyone there? Help!” Callie screamed, her voice hoarse. Dan gripped a machete in his hand, but it was useless against mutated zombies.

Turns Out Cats Are Endgame

Turns Out Cats Are Endgame

] The mechanical voice rang in my ears. At the same second, the power grid died. The internet cut out. Lights in the distance blinked off one by one. It felt like someone hit pause on the world. Even the rustle of leaves sounded sharp. I eased up to the booth window and looked out. Inside my old apartment stood three figures—Alan, Bella, and Dylan. Of course they'd teamed up. A loudspeaker slid out the window. Alan's voice blasted across the complex. "Everyone, the apocalypse has started. I know you're looking for protection. I've got Caucasian Shepherds, a lion, and crocodiles. Any one of them can handle zombies. If you don't want to die, come join me. However..."

The Transcendent Zombie System

The Transcendent Zombie System

Tinkerbell dared not hesitate for a moment and quickly answered, "There used to be an abundance of zombies in Zombies' Territory but right now, they all are now attacking Southwest ThirtyTwo Base City, and soon, they will be attacking ours." Lucas lost interest after listening to it and thought all of these were meaningless. "Your base city is…" "Our base city is the largest base city amongst the thirty-two base cities, named Nutty Thunder Base City." Lucas was thinking that instead of searching out for zombies, he might as well wait for zombies to gather. Only with that, things would be more interesting. "You guys snuggle in the group," Lucas ordered the Apocalyptic Legion. Then, the Apocal

I genuinely love this book, only problems I have with it is the fact that he never actually travels with the people he gets to join him (hattie Mia etc) I wish there were more interaction between them all. second is that there are only 2 or so chapters a day....I have plenty of coins to waste...

Devil's Dark

Devil's Dark

If he does not see what faintly strides through the dark night. So he turns again. He does not come to full view. He watches the figure move like the zombies from the video game. It was how the Apocalypse begins. First, a single zombie is seen raiding the streets but just as humans think they had it under control, a pack would lash out of a corner, charging towards them. No! Don't think that. Zombies are not real.

When I start reading a chapter, I'm afraid to reach the end of that chapter because I am not sure I can handle the suspense and/or cliffhangers. But do I stop reading? No. That's what a good book does to you.

Ally of the Apocalypse

Ally of the Apocalypse

Feelings of dread came over her and she could feel her heart in her throat. Ally knew when she flipped the switch there would be another birthday surprise she wasn’t going to be able to handle. She flipped it anyways. Another great masterpiece painted by the late Leonardo da Vinci creeped into her mind, Last Supper, but the Rob Zombie edition. The birthday decorations where all still there. In fact, someone took great care to arrange all of the bodies in the chairs. Some were wearing party hats, other had noise makers in their mouths. Looking at the floor she saw Jeremy’s hair tousled and matted with blood. He was missing his arm, the one that sent her over the edge this morning. He wa

75 Days

75 Days

An elderly woman with thin, gray hair growls at me, but as she lunges, a shotgun blast takes off half of her face, spinning her away from me and into the closest zombie, giving me time to scurry back to the roof of the car as they fall to the ground in a tangled mess. Looking around for my rescuer, I find him standing near the trunk of the car. He's a few years older than me, and is not quite six feet tall. His skin is a natural tan color, and he has a really thin, almost scrawny build. His shaggy black hair is greasy, and it has dark blonde roots, meaning that he's dyed his hair in the past-probably shortly before the world ended. From my place here on the roof, I can see the chipped black

The Pales

The Pales

It’s about noon and Zane is walking down a highway littered with decaying cars. As he approached a nearby city, most of the cars had cracked or broken windshields. Sometimes he saw the odd humvee or a tank, they made great shelters for nighttime. This is the western apocalypse and it has been hell. He is about 5 '7 with long blonde hair blowing in the wind, a sturdy build, blue eyes with a narrow face, He wears a trench coat to stay warm and has a backpack of limited supplies. He travels alone mostly, at the start he traveled in groups of survivors of twenty to thirty people but they all succumbed to becoming food of the Pales.

ZUBA: Tragedies of a Vampire Princess

ZUBA: Tragedies of a Vampire Princess

“Will you take my blood?” Zuba never said anything. She looked into his eyes, and grabbing his chest forcefully, she plunged her fangs gently right into his flesh. “The other one is for love”, she said as she looked the other way. She gave her back to him. She looked away for a moment to wipe away her tears. “And the other one?” he asked She then turned around, facing him again, “The curse of a witch is broken”, she replied. “From now on you will shape shift at will without waiting for the tree days of the full moon”.

One In A Million

One In A Million

December 1, 2050 - Colleti Research & Experimental Facility, Wolfe Creek Crater Western Australia I think my mind is going to explode any minute from now. The news of the zombie outbreak is shaking my whole system, and finding out that the crowd I saw on the ground are actually zombies did not help either. Until we reach our destination, I am as mute as an isolated room in the middle of a desert. Sean guides me to climb down the helicopter and in an instant, the idea of zombies was averted from my mind when I see where we are.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

“I just hope this isn’t the start of some kind of zombie apocalypse.” “You and me both, Mom.” The rest of Leesa’s thought—“more than you know”—went unvoiced. If she and Dominic were unable to thwart the Necromancer’s plans, she was afraid that a zombie apocalypse was exactly what might happen. Her cell phone sounded with Cali’s ringtone from Pink. Leesa was pretty sure what this call was going to be about. “Are you watching this shit?” Cali asked breathlessly. “Yeah. With my mom and Bradley. It’s totally gross. We just shut it off.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Surviving a zombie apocalypse isn't just about brute force—it's about strategy, adaptability, and a bit of luck. First, securing a safe location is crucial. I’d look for somewhere with solid walls, like a school or a warehouse, preferably with access to rooftop spaces for visibility. Fortifying entry points with barricades and setting up early warning systems (think cans on strings or motion sensors) could buy precious time. Then, there’s the matter of supplies. Non-perishable food, water purification tablets, and medical kits are non-negotiables. But here’s the thing people forget: boredom kills morale. Packing a deck of cards or a few books might seem trivial, but mental health is survival, too.

Next, community matters. Lone wolves don’t last long in 'The Walking Dead' for a reason. Trusting the wrong people is risky, but isolation is riskier. I’d scout for survivors with complementary skills—maybe a nurse, a mechanic, or someone who can cook creatively from canned beans. And weapons? Guns are loud and ammo runs out. A good machete or a crossbow is quieter and reusable. Finally, always have an exit plan. Zombies aren’t the only threat; human factions can be worse. Staying mobile, knowing alternate routes, and never getting too comfortable could mean the difference between becoming a statistic or a legend.
