It howls in pain whipping it’s head around cause blood to go everywhere. I land on the ground and whip around to face it again. I see it’s not covering its neck this time so I make my move and latch my jaw around it’s throat and jerk hard ripping it’s throat out. Blood goes flying all over my coat. I drop the chunk of flesh and look around. I notice that Grey is back and fighting alongside Blood Moon warriors. As I keep looking something shiny catches my eye.

In the moments right before I wake up screaming about things I can't control and people I can't protect. Same silver-blonde hair catching the light. Same violet eyes with that silver ring around the iris that nobody else has. Same bone structure that I've memorized better than I know my own face. My mother is walking through the gates of Blood Moon Academy. Except she's not my mother. She's too young. She's the right age to be a student, not a fully grown woman who murdered her husband in cold blood and then disappeared like she never existed. "Draven?" Every part of the air vibrated. My wolf growled with anger and panic. He wanted to protect her, but the moon wanted to break her. I lifted her into my arms again and held her against my chest. She felt too cold now, a sharp change from the burning heat before.

“But I always knew you smelled like shit.” “I’ll turn you to shit,” he snarled and beckoned his men. Then the fight began. Dozens of his men poured from every dark corner, wolves in varying stages of madness. Muzan was at my side the whole time, spinning and snapping and tearing through fur and flesh. My claws split rib cages. My fangs sunk into jugulars. Still, they kept coming. But rage made us faster. Fear made us brutal. When the last body dropped, twitching, and broken, Tony lay in a heap of fur and blood, unmoving. Muzan stood beside me, panting so hard I thought he might collapse.

I know I’m just being a rod because shite in Manga is no more real than ‘cars’ or motor vehicles any more than guns or football. At least there’s an actual story with interesting and well-thought-out plot twists. The shite that they go on about is brainless.
