Enchanting the Prince

Enchanting the Prince

“A present for Aolis. I know he’ll find you. His precious Lily.” So I had gotten some red paint and I had splashed it onto the canvas making it look like blood dripping down from the slashes I had made on her face. Her laughing eyes continued to taunt me, so I painted over them, giving them the haunted look I hoped to see in them one day.

This is definitely my favorite from all the guardian series. It’s so different and refreshing! The storyline is so well written. Although I did hope there were more scenes of Aolis and Lily together though, but it’s amazing and I even reread the book!

I just finished this book, and it was amazing. I loved all previous books a lot, but this was very different, made my heart warm ... Since Cara and Rik and Canyon Ridge Pack were my favourites, I am so happy to see Lily becoming so strong and One True Queen ...

Plaything in one's palm

Plaything in one's palm

On the third day, the dam broke. It started with a single slash of black paint across a pristine white canvas. It was an act of violence, a scream without sound. Then another, and another. He wasn't painting a picture; he was exorcising a demon. He used his hands, knives, rags, anything he could find. The colors were murky, violent: deep burgundy like old blood, sickly yellow like a bruise, charcoal black like a void.

Faking the Mate Bond

Faking the Mate Bond

“Oh Zeph, you are a funny man. Yes indeed, there are colours, and there are naked people, but just look closely. They are all alive in these pictures. This painting here…” He pointed towards a painting where a maiden was sitting in a corner of a dark room, hugging her blood-stained, torn gown. Her face buried in her knees. “The damage,” I read the painting’s name. “The artist was molested,” Archer said and my eyes instantly shot with tears. A non-living painting that was nothing a second ago came to life as if the girl in the painting was talking to me through some magical portal. I understood why half of the painting was painted black and I started seeing and hearing her mind. Her screams,

One of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever read in this platform. Well written, strong characters with deep backgrounds, a more than decent emotional rollercoaster… OMG! This author has my standing ovation from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!

CHASING MONSTERS

CHASING MONSTERS

One wrong whisper, one wrong rumor, and everything Sophie and Xavier were trying to build could shatter. I pushed it down. Focus. Protect them. Protect our children. Protect the future we’re fighting for. The first artist lived above a pottery guild. She answered the door with ink on her fingers and irritation in her eyes. “You think I’m sneaking around with protest paint?” she scoffed. “Half my work is murals. The red you saw on the walls? Wrong mix. That was cheap stuff. Mine’s imported. Cost me triple.” She shoved a crate of pigments at me, receipts clipped neatly to the side.

The CEO's Escort

The CEO's Escort

Amber had seen this particular type of folding before, but for the life of her, she could not remember where. No matter. She was here for the safe, not some origami folding. Gently, she placed it back to its original position, careful not to ruin it. Amber closed the drawer and spun around, facing the room. There was nothing else for her to search. Frustrated, she threw her hands up in the air only to spot another of Fabian’s abstract painting on the opposite side of the white bricked wall. This canvas painting was similar to the one in her room. The only difference was, this one was made up of different hues of dark blue with a blood-red line slashed across the middle. A row of ceiling trac

My Dad’s Business Partner

My Dad’s Business Partner

I grabbed the huge canvas and my paints without bothering to tie my hair up. Colors collided on the canvas, raw and wild. Rage mixed with sorrow, bleeding into every stroke—red for the fury in the background, black for the emptiness, lines in the red, white for the hollow ache blending with the blue, brown for the weight of it all. But...Blue surged, sharp and piercing, until his image actually emerged. Not the man himself, but his eyes. Those cruel, calculating blue eyes that knew exactly how to lie. The image spoke...as if it was actually him on the other side—laughing at me, cruelly.

Pearl of his Heart

Pearl of his Heart

“Limited edition painting. If you wanna buy it, you gotta place a bid. Or, get them for free if you sign up for the club.” He shrugged, feeling victorious. The people were silent, unsure of what to say. Malorie stepped forward, still gaping at the painting. “You…” she began. “It’s marvelous, isn’t it?” Cain boasted. “It’s...marvelously bad!” Malorie exclaimed. “What the hell is this?” She pointed at the painting consisting of stick figures in different colors. The shapes were off, looking like an artwork by a kindergarten student. “This is comic art!” Cain claimed. “This looks as if a child drew it!” she hissed. “This isn’t how you make a comic strip!”

Wow- a different type of romance. It has a hint of supernatural that led away from its cliche troupe. I am looking forward for Jason and Alya's progress in romance. The grammar is good as well. I look forward to more chaps!

This books needs to be on top. As expected of teatae, she never disappoints with her suspense and mystery along with the romance which feels so real. Although it's more of a romance but its all worth it. I don't feel regret buying coins to read this gem. Why the review limit is so short though? 😭😭

His Assassin's Love

His Assassin's Love

Her scent was one I wanted to get lost in forever. Wait, what? Why am I thinking like this? I need to get laid tonight. I’ll let Casey know I need one of his strippers once everyone is gone. I made my way to the living room to find Abel inspecting a painting Paula was so obsessed with. It was a painting of a woman crying; while one eye produced tears, the other produced blood. What I always found creepy about the piece of art was the fact that the woman was smiling, her eyes were distant, and she appeared mentally ill. I always thought whoever painted her was a lunatic.

Bound By A Borrowed Heart

Bound By A Borrowed Heart

The palette is all darks with Prussian blue, burnt umber, alizarin crimson so deep it looks like dried blood. I load the brush and attack the canvas with strokes that splatter paint across the floor, the easel, and my arms. The image that forms is violent and shapeless, a battlefield rendered in oil, and I don't care what it looks like because I'm not painting for beauty right now. I'm painting to survive what Baker just told me. My father is innocent, Ryan's parents were murdered, Tasha's father paid for the cover-up, and the boy who destroyed my life was a puppet on strings held by the same man who destroyed his.

Betrayed Bloodlines: The Alpha’s Final Penalty

Betrayed Bloodlines: The Alpha’s Final Penalty

By Friday, I was a jagged edge of nerves. This was my debut as a solitary wolf, without the Alpha’s ring weighing down my hand. The work I had bled into over the last seven weeks—pure, unadulterated fury—screamed from the walls. The centerpiece, a chaotic sprawl of crimson and black titled The Final Howl, was splattered with actual droplets of my own blood. I had pricked my fingers until they were raw to get the shade right. It was primal, a stark departure from the polished, soulless portraits I’d painted to please the Graves family.
