Blizzard's old plumage is restored by the tear's healing properties, allowing me to take in his magnificent exotic new look. The icicle crown on his head blends into the soft blue feathers that coat his neck and back. Ver was busy sniffing the air, looking like the adorable puppy he was. "They produce beautiful golden and red flowers called twin beaks. We broke out hugging hearing a car honk. A handsome guy came out of the car and approached us. Belle hugged him tightly while tears started brimming in her eyes. I'm sure they are happy tears. Did I forget to tell how senti she could turn into sometimes? Her brother broke the hug and asked her to stop her melodrama. She smacked him and turned towards me, making his attention to shift towards me. The moment our eyes met, I felt some unknown feeling creeping up. It felt like a dejavu moment.

“Then we’ll just have to be faster.” By dawn, we were already on the move again. The mountain range stretched endlessly before us, every ridge sharper than the last, each step echoing with exhaustion. The path narrowed as we descended into the valley below, where the air grew warmer and thick with mist. Aaron stopped to pluck one. “Well, at least the apocalypse has nice landscaping.” Sylra smacked his hand. “Those are soul blooms. They grow on the graves of forgotten spirits.”
