It ripples the environment around you, like the wind over still water, separate and untouchable, but powerful enough to leave its temporary mark as it passes.
Darby’s is different. Strongest around her are the twisting tendrils of green magic, probably from the second point. There’s more to it though, a subtle depth of blue, like reflected sunlight trapped in crystalline water, undulating in smooth waves. And as I’m peering at her, following the blue through crest and trough, I see it—the aura of my talisman, fluttering the other magic, swaying through it in an intricate and tenuously balanced dance.
