I shout. "The sooner we get out of this damned snow the better. I'm freezing my ass off," he shouts back his voice trembling. "Hold on just a little longer we will be there shortly," I reply. After nearly an hour of fighting through the blizzard, we burst through the snowstorm to the mountain. Suddenly the air becomes calm and the world a little warmer. It is as if the Horde of Fates is surrounded by a bubble that keeps the storm out. I continue on my path towards the snowy mountain range. As I come in closer I notice a large blue dragon watching over the west entrance. The blue dragon turns his head nodding in my direction.

Ruby eyes blinked in the morning mist, eyes that looked vaguely familiar to her. “Oh my god, oh my god,” her breathing was becoming erratic, her heart beating like a rabbit, as she watched the incredible vision unfold before her. “Madchen, it’s ok,” Drago had a death grip on her arm, trying to calm her, but who could be calm at a time like this??

In short seconds that felt like minutes, the top part of the egg fell off, and staring at them while screeching softly was a blue-eyed dragon with white soft scales. Alaric gasped, “Blue eyes with white scales? That is unheard of,” he said, reaching down to carry the dragon. As soon as it was in his arms, it turned into a baby. It was a baby girl, and her blue eyes glowed softly. “My little angel is the first of her kind,” Alaric chuckled. “Will it be a problem?” Mariah asked. She was worried. A dragon’s eye color tells of its scales' color; there was no dragon with a different eye color from their scales, and no matter how happy she was with her little one, she was worried.

“I wanna see Luna … Robert … and Chief Gregor … but they’re all one world away …” A sparkle of light caught the corner of his vision. Arth turned and he spotted a glowing sphere from the dragon’s mouth. He smiled sadly when he realized it was the core of Draphiron. It had the same size of an eyeball, glowing in blue as the color of S-class beasts. Arth wiped his tears and reached for the dragon’s mouth to get the core. But then, as he touched the blue orb, it suddenly flashed, blinding Arth’s eyes.

Larice Whitewind found it pleasing when the people were the ones staying away from her. “Eyes here, trainees … dragons can only have three shades of eye colors—amber, hazel, and gold. I’m all certain that blue is not one of them,” Arien said when he seemed to notice the students looking at her. “Besides, Ms. Whitewind here came from another country which she has yet to share to the class.” Larice rolled her eyes. Who would care anyway if she did? And her eyes were aurora-blue, not just blue as in the shade of plain blue.

Then it’s time for rain to shift, she stands strong ready, she is the only water dragon to be going with the party. “What is your dragon called?” I ask her, she smiles warmly. “Shui” Stepping forward she shifts, I watch as she changes into the most beautiful ice white dragon with sky blue flecks and bright blue eyes. Her white scales are almost like glitter when the sun hits them. She is smaller than the male dragons but her dragon out shines them all. “She’s pretty impressive” I turn to look at Denu, she rolls her eyes “Ok, she is stunning” she says, I just laugh at her.

I admire all the paintings, but there is one in particular that catches my attention. It is a painting of a deep blue dragon flying over a mountain during a raging thunderstorm, a mountain I know all too well. I am surprised that out of all the paintings of magical beasts, they have one of a dragon considering we rarely show ourselves to humans. But what really catches my eye is the long-jagged scar running across the right side of the dragon's chest, and its deep violet eyes. This dragon looks familiar. Much too familiar. Reaching out, I run my fingertips across the dragon in the painting. My eyes begin to blur with tears. It is almost an exact replica of Fafnir, dynamic and glorious as he

It looks like a snowball from afar, and when it look back at the group they were mesmerized by how beautiful its eyes were.
