Waist-high and glowing faintly, she looked like something out of a myth. Soon though, their conversation was interrupted as both vampires turned to their left. A girl was coming towards them, she had deep blue hair, the colour so rich, it almost looked black. However it was clear it wasn't natural, the colour was slightly faded at her roots. She had piercing, pale blue eyes and sharp upward arched eyebrows. Her lips were pursed and tinted black with lipstick and her fangs stuck out lightly. Vampire.

Blue explained. “Vampires?” I whispered, my eyes almost boggling out of their sockets. “Yes. Half Vampires. We can turn —” Blue shot a dark glare at Fred, and that shut him up. “That's all you need to know for now, Bunny. Just know we will never hurt you,” Blue repeated after the eye arguments he had with his brother. “But you are vampires!” I argued, still watching them, to know when they would make a move towards me. I needed to be alert.

Selene, the Head Witch hissed. The battlefield trembled as the full force of betrayal and vengeance collided. He didn't turn, so she let the towel drop to the floor with a gentle thud and watched his back stiffen. His chest rumbled, but he still didn't turn. So she slid beneath the crisp sheets and snuggled into the downy pillows. Then he turned. The yellow orbs of his eyes reflected all of the light in the room, and his fangs pressed into his lips. Sapphira squeezed her legs together and whimpered. His nostrils flared at the sound, but he shook his head violently.

Chapter 16 Evangeline was holding a glass of water for Pocco, she was returning to the living room yet she was taken aback to see what was happening to Blake. She saw his fangs and his eyes that manifest a desire to devour blood. She gripped the glass tighter, tears suddenly stream down her eyes, she was worried, yet couldn’t move any step towards him.
